I know posting three album trailers is getting a bit excessive, but I was genuinely interested in how people felt about that sax.
|
| |
Loved it, but hopefully this will be the last trailer. Feel like they are showing a bit too much of
this album off. Isn't supposed to be a 51 minute song?
It just ruins the flow, I'd rather they just stream the whole album than give 2 min teasers out every
few weeks until the release.
|
| |
Band should just have a sax player instead of a vocalist
|
| |
agreed. cut out the terrible vocals in lieu of a sax player. Seriously, these guys sound more pretentious every week.
From all the trailers i've heard it's non stop vocal harmony chrous-things. This new tesseract fucking blows.
This snippet was cool though, because there were no vocals.
|
| |
yay
|
| |
It was cool until the chug chug dun dun guitar playing came in. I really hate those kinds of riffs. The sax was great though.
|
| |
Band should just have a sax player instead of a vocalist
Given how bad their current vocalist is, I'd have to agree.
|
| |
Sax was great and I honestly don't mind the new vocalist too much.
|
| |
instrumental version of album plz
|
| |
Sax, really? I'll have to check this out when I next have a chance.
|
| |
That was....interesting. Their new vocalist doesn't fit the band though. His voice is too gentle.
|
| |
The sax is too high in the mix, but that was pretty cool. Can't argue that they're trying new things. That's definitely something I haven't heard before.
|
| |
Sounding good. But so far we haven't heard any harsh vocals. Are they going full prog this time around?
|
| |
Just release a fucking song already
|
| |
Their new vocalist cant do harsh vocals at all.
|
| |
instrumental version of album plz [2]
cannot stand the new vocalist. He sounds like he should be doing pop country. I'm not saying he's not talented, far from it. But he just doesn't fit, imho.
|
| |
I dig the sax.
|
| |
the sax is so boss, they did a sax track back in their demo days which was awesome. sounds good without the singer, she's awful
|
| |
I just watched the live version of Acceptance. Other than Ashe being great live, he pulled off the screams better than Dan ever could.

A sax solo in a metal song. Totally haven't heard that before or anything.
|
| |
Yeah, TesseracT are pretty innovative
|
| |
this is actually pretty cool. this band has their moments.
|
| |
yea they just need a singer with some balls
|
| |

I feel like there's sarcasm here, even though sax solos in metal songs are pretty rare. I know there's a song by Ihsahn that has sax. I don't know what the name is though..
|
| |
Oh fuck. TesseracT is morphing into a Geoff Tate project...
|
| |
Speaking of excessive, aren't the band making a 51-minute animated music video? Can't fault them for not being ambitious...
|
| |
shitty band
|
| |
Album is gonna rule.
|
| |
That was so sick.
|
| |
The vocals aren't that bad.
|
| |
I love pretentouis bands which creates fancy albums, long songs and epic videos
|
| |
Stoked.
|
| |
Still looking forward to this.
|
| |
I actually really really really liked that sax a whole lot. But, I'm a sucker for sax and wind instruments... except for flute. Flute is kinda distracting sometimes.
I want someone to use the Fujara in one of their tracks soon.
|
| |
Ashe is pretty great and fits the music much better than Elliot, don't know why you guys are complaining so much.
|
| |
I'm not a fan of him because between his vocals and the mixing, the whole band sounds weak.
|
| |
"Other than Ashe being great live, he pulled off the screams better than Dan ever could."
No way, he is good, but Dan's screams are still better.
|
| |
god Elliot was so awful
|
| |

Maybe you're right, but Dan was never particularly a good screamer. You could tell he was only doing it because he was honoring what Abisola(first vocalist) wrote. Everything Dan wrote lacks any harsh vocals.
|
| |
well played
|
| |
band is not good
if this is what is representing progressive metal these days then i want a bullet to the head
|
| |
The sax was pretty cool, but the guitars get in the way and the band's sound doesn't mix well imo with
the sax solo.
It's annoying how any song/piece with a saxophone has an idiot making a correlation about it being
similar to Kenny G's atrocious playing.
|
| |
This sounds wonderful. I'm excited for this.
