Wonder if Rollins will step back behind the mic at any point too. Or if it's just going to be Reyes.

Hey. my dad (ron reyes) has been in texas for the past week with greg recording some music for a non-black flag related project, which probably has a lot to do with why they decided to take part in this reunion. funny how I'm finding out about this from a news article on the internet lol. My dad has been heavily involved with new music for the past few years, he even started a new band which he plays guitar in, so I know he would never pass up an opportunity to do a show like this. I agree with mort though, it's weird that they would be doing this in the UK instead of California or something.

Also fwiw apparently Dukowski isn't in the Black Flag reunion. He's in Flag with Morris and co. No word on whether the Robo thing is legit though.

Maybe about the Flag thing but there were reports of him and Robo being in the full Black Flag reunion. I still think Robo will be in it but it's definite that Dukowski won't.

I made a joke about the people complaining about lack of Rollins on what appears to be Black Flag's official page. They seemed to like it. Well, they "liked" it anyway.

I love Jealous Again as much as the next guy but a reunion without the DEFINITIVE vocalist is kind of pointless, especially when replaced by one who was only on like two EPs.

From dyingscene;
Hot off the hells of the announcement that Black Flag was reuniting to play Hevy Fest this year, it appears that fans can expect more than just a few sporadic festival reunion shows from the iconic hardcore punk act.  Singer Ron Reyes has officially announced that the band (founder Greg Ginn on guitar, Ron Reyes on vocals, Gregory Moore on drums and Dale Nixon on bass) are currently putting the “finishing touches on a new album.”

The seeds of this reformation were apparently planted when Reyes invited Ginn to perform with him at his birthday party some two and half years ago. The two vowed at that time to work on some songs together. The fruition of those efforts will culminate in the release of the new album later this year.

Fans can expect to see Black Flag recording and touring extensively both in the US and abroad.  Along with the previously announced Hevy Fest, the band will be headlining the Ruhrpott Rodeo in Hünxe, Germany on May 18th 2013 and headlining the Muddy Roots Music Festival in Tennessee, Saturday August 31st, 2013.

aside from the fact that this would still be just as much of a pointless dog and pony show if rollins was involved, he wasn't the be all and end all of black flag you tools

plus his voice is shot and he can't pull off those songs convincingly anymore, listen to the west memphis 3 benefit thing
