Yep, the song they released from it is really good. "Reptilians" was one of my favorite albums of 2011, so I'm really excited for this.

going to be awesome

Also, "Boy Toy" is the best song they've ever made, and I went batshit when they played it live.
|
| |
^Yeah that's my favourite too
|
| |
they totally stole their name from MJ
STARFUCKING INTO THE SMEGMA OF TIME
|
| |
Fuck yea
|
| |
I'd very much like to know how does one fuck a star
|
| |
Maybe it's "star" as in "famous person," not "giant celestial ball of gas and fire." Since they're from Portland, that almost certainly means they're hipsters trying to be ironic, so I'd guess the former option. The latter would make more sense if they were a badass space-prog band who wrote nine-minute songs in 13/4 time.

Yup, I've read in an interview that with "star" they are referring to "famous person". One of the founders got fed up with
the current music industry after hearing a woman bragging about how many stars she had fucked. He then decided it
might be a fun name for the band, and wanted to see how far the would make it with such a name.
Really hyped for the new record, btw. Starfucker is one of my favorite (electronic) bands, they have this happy and
danceable, yet very calming sound, which I really adore.
