Hey, Cruel World!!!
I'm Marilyn Manson and I don't give a shit
|
| |
Will this feature Marilyn Manson eating his/her own dick?
|
| |
"14. You're So Vain (ft. Johnny Depp)"
DaFuq is dis?
|
| |
ugh...
|
| |
maybe this will see mm becoming relevant again
4. Overneath The Path Of Misery
7. The Flowers Of Evil
lolnope
I liked THAN but the lead single to this was really boring so I'm not expecting much
|
| |
the song is called you're so vain and it features johnny depp
how does that not make sense
|
| |
Oh, sweet. Cover songs are usually his best songs.
|
| |
I remember seeing the House on Haunted Hill remake when it came out in theaters, and being SUPER PUMPED when his remake of "Sweet Dreams" started to play.
*sigh*
I miss childhood.
|
| |
The titles don't sound too bad. Hopefully this might be better than his last two albums.
|
| |
she's made of hair and bone, and little teeth....
|
| |
What is it "relevant" even means...?
|
| |
"13. Breaking The Same Old Ground"
|
| |
will listen
likely won't enjoy
prediction: 1.5-2.5/5
|
| |
SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS
|
| |
"actor Johnny Depp performing lead guitar and drums."
What the hell...?
Anyway, that single wasn't TOO bad, so perhaps this may earn a 2.5 from me.
|
| |
Johnny Depp does both guitar and drums?
that's pretty awesome
|
| |
No judgement from me until it releases, this mans past covers were insanely good.
|
| |
Even though most of my better judgment is telling me I won't like this album, I'll end up listening to it anyway. Plus, the cover could at least be interesting, and even his worst albums usually have at least one or two decent songs.
|
| |
There's definate correlation between Marilyn Manson losing Trent Reznor as a producer and the quality of his output changing - since Antichrist Superstar there's been a drop in quality with each release to the point where his music is now barely listenable.
Fair play to him for making a mint from the 'kids' though.
|
| |
Correlation doesn't always equal causation sir.
|
| |
@Readyforthehouse
Mechanical Animals and Holywood were both excellent albums. It was after he got married to Dita Von Teese that the quality of his music dropped.
|
| |
Depp has played guitar for many bands before
|
| |
0_0
because that's stopped so many artists from doing whatever they want in the past.
|
| |
Hey, Cruel World
|
| |
Ugh.
|
| |
dude, isn't he/she like 50?
Time to give up the ghost Manson...
|
| |
I'm still waiting for this "suicide death metal" that he promised me months ago. Waiting...
|
| |
Hasn't made anything worthwhile since Holy Wood.
He needs to stop.
|
| |
Will Flowers Of Evil be a cover?
It better not be a ruth white cover
|
| |
LOL johnny depp
|
| |
actually stoked, I hope this doesn't disappoint
probably will though
|
| |
I'm so pissed off that Rammstein will be performing live with this guy during the Echo Awards. He doesn't deserve to be on the same stage as Rammstein.
|
| |
Fanboy.
|
| |
Hilarious that this assclown is doing that cover, seeing as Trent Reznor already borrowed lines from that song and used it in "Starfuckers, Inc." more than a decade ago to lampoon people like Manson.
|
| |
will listen for curiosity sake
|
| |
"Fanboy."
You talking to me? If so then yes, im a massive fan boy.
|
| |
@FruityCat
I agree they were decent albums but I think Antichrist Superstar was superior musically, in terms of production, in terms of the fact that there's a minimal amount of filler and most importantly, because there were some genuinely unsettling moments on the record which might have been unintentional - everything that followed seemed made to be 'shocking' for the sake of fame and money.
|
| |
He used to scare the hell outta me lol. I was 6, btw.
|
| |
Johnny Depp
First Jack & Jill and now this
Career over
|
| |
Hilarious that this assclown is doing that cover, seeing as Trent Reznor already borrowed lines from that song and used it in "Starfuckers, Inc." more than a decade ago to lampoon people like Manson.
You DO realize that Manson was in that music video, and that they're not at each others throats anymore?
|
| |
"Oh, sweet. Cover songs are usually his best songs."
I usually enjoy his covers too. Five to One is a great cover. I always wanted him to do a cover of
Spirit in the Sky...but like 15 years ago. Not sure about now
|
| |
Yeah, and though Reznor has aged better musically I'd still like to see what Manson has in store with this album all the same.
|
| |
Even though I don't enjoy Mansons last two? albums I don't enjoy Reznor's soundtrack work either; for me the last part of their careers are both pretty "meh"
|
| |
I'd say Reznor's latest material has been pretty bad too. Not as bad as MM, but it's still nothing to write home about. The last thing I can say I liked from NIN was With Teeth.

One of the best...I'll get it as as soon as it's out.
|
| |
The font is pretty nice
|
| |
just look how pensive and mournful he looks
so deep
|
| |
He wants the be the Lady Gaga... of shock rock?
|
| |
That... is immensely disappointing album art.
|
| |
At least it's better than EMDM's
|
| |
I dunno about that. EMDM's cover was... more professional looking, at least. What I just saw looked like something you could come close to using picnik.com or something.
|
| |
Cover art is pretty much what you would expect from him
|
| |
I like it, though it's sad to see his eyebrows back.
|
| |
Its cooler than his past two album covers at least
|
| |
Johnny Depp.... Hm.
Seeing him with no makeup in the preview video made me think he had the potential to be a preacher at his local church, choir boy fondling included of course.
|
| |
Be easy on him guys, the man has 'no reflection'
|
