Not sure if want...

Where's Your Demise? Also that video suuuuucks
| |
Listen to Blood stays on the blade EP and then listen to this.... lolcopterz
| |
Not happy about this...
| |
Band is fucking awful.
| |
Oh God what happened...
| |
Wow, this is a pretty big change. I liked it at first with the all cleans, but the harsh vocals seem out place. Probably in the minority here with liking this better than their old stuff.
| |
Almost as upsetting as STYG's new song in comparison to THD
| |
Coming to a radio near you!
| |
I think they forgot the (feat: Mac Miller) tag in the song title. He's gonna be pissed.
| |
STYG's new song is much better imo, the clean vocals are a nice change. This however, is a pile of gash.
| |
STYG is a better band outright, and their new song doesn't even touch No Cover, let alone the rest of THD.
| |
Not bad, but I'd rather listen to George Noble's new band Rumour Mill
| |
Listen to Blood stays on the blade EP and then listen to this.... lolcopterz
Hahahaha, right?
| |
Almost as upsetting as STYG's new song in comparison to THD
lol @ being disappointed in a STYG song, that band blows hard.
Band is fucking awful.
Old stuff is quality moshcore.

So superior.
| |
WOAH the fuck?! I read through the comments first, still was not expecting disney channel music.
| |
They're like the next Simple Plan.
| |
They're clearly yet another band trying to be Set Your Goals.
| |
the hook is so so weak
| |
What in a actual FUCK????
| |
This reminds me of when LoveHateHero went downhill in sound changes.
| |
UH WHAT.?! and yes, the hook is so so weak [2]
| |
the like bar perfectly describes my reaction to this.

That dude is in the same exact boat as me.
| |
vocalist thinks he's a rapper
| |
Srscore lolol. This would be pretty alright if he could sing well. He just sounds sorta flat and unemotional. I know they're trying to lean more towards the punk side of pop punk but this just sounds bland as fuck. It's like they gave up on making music and are just sorta riding the pop punk wave -____- Coming soon to a city near you with Such Gold and Man Overboard.
| |
This is utter shit. I miss George Noble. That dude was awesome. I heard that Ed McRae was a hairdresser before he joined Your Demise...no surprise the band sounds like this now if that's true.
| |
reminds me of bad religion, gonna go listen to them now
| |
Check out George Noble's new band, Rumour Mill. I'm listening right now and they seem pretty legit. The entire ep is free here: http://www.musicglue.com/rumourmill
| |
Not the kids they use to be...
| |
I actually thought their most recent album was decent.
This, however, is worse than the holocaust.
| |
Pretty sure I'm in the minority when I say I really enjoy this.
| |
" This would be pretty alright if he could sing well."
no it wouldn't
| |
I don't get this site sometimes. People flame a band for not changing up their sound, if YD still sounded the same as The Blood Stays on the Blade they'd get accused of becoming stale. But when a band does change it up, instead of applauding the risk, people just flame the band for the change they've made, and say that they should make more music like their old material. There's just no pleasing some people.
| |
They wouldn't get shit for changing their sound if they didn't fucking suck at the style they switched to.
Common sense, retard.
| |
But they don't. This is as good as Such Gold or Basement or any of those type of bands. If a new band made this exact song it wouldn't be received anywhere near as badly. Or maybe it's just the fanboy in me, I dunno.
| |
Wtf is this shit? Their last albums were okay but damn...
| |
Oh I'm sorry keyboardxmosh I didn't realise your opinion was actually factual. Fair enough if you don't like it but insulting people because they don't agree with you is pathetic.
| |
this is embarrassing

No one would complain if they didn't change their sound, as long as they were good at it (which they were). They got big as a hardcore band but that doesn't mean they'd be good as a pop punk one. If you honestly think this is a good song, you don't listen to enough music. If an established pop punk band released this song, they'd still be getting negative reaction. It's just, simply, a bad song.
| |
^ that
| |
Hahah what is this! Fuarrkkk. Glad they are pretending not to be from the UK at least...
| |
Still not sure if cereal.
| |
IGNORANCE NEVER DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES
| |
WOW. Based on the reactions I expected them to have lost their edge a bit, but i wasn't prepared for it to be that bad. AnarchistFish put it perfectly.
| |
Have you guys seen this?
A statement from Daniel 'Oz' Osborne:
"I would never normally write/post something like this, as nothing has really affected me to this extent before. There are a few things I would like to clear up in regards to Your Demise's past. I'm not going to talk about everything, but I feel the time now to mention my view of our previous singer. Towards the end of his time in the band, my confidence was at an all time low, and the final straw was when he broke my collar bone and gave me internal bleeding from kicking me on stage. Not many people know this apart from my band and family because I keep personal stuff to myself.
All the people saying bring him back and giving Ed a hard time is ridiculous. That person is not a god, or the leader of UK hardcore.
Ed has been in the band for 3 years now and it's been the best time of my life; since Ed has been in the band, the band has grown closer and tighter together and we are like brothers.
I wanted to get this off my chest coz it's been brewing up inside me for years, and I'm not one to bad mouth, but you need to know the facts. Yourdemise 2000 and forever xx"
| |
Yeah, that sucks but Ignorance Never Dies and the ep are still better music-wise haha.
| |
