I wouldn't say the other guys don't have any talent, but it's just that when I'm listening to the band's new songs, my focus is usually on Shomo.

I just watched their studio updates and it those vocals that Caleb does now sound A LOT like Mike Hranica. Both in delivery and just the sound of his screams.

Well no one said it wasn't generic, it's just improvement.
Yes, there are still clean vocals, and yes, there still is synth in some songs

There just more heavier because the clean vocals are coming from Caleb but there really isn't any synth.. Just some old fashion piano. I kinda disagree on the improvement, yes they sound better but If you listen to their self titled album it's very well put together.

The self titled was way overproduced, IMO. The songs they did with Feldman, however, sounded great, but the songs were poorly written.

Bottom line is, this album is gonna attract more AA fans(the same people who talks shit about them before this new album came out, because they were Post-Hardcore/Electronica) which will make hypocrites out of a lot of annoying people which I already despised in the first place.

I'm not sure I'll be looking into getting this, but it wouldn't hurt to try. The line-up changes have me thinking.

But srsly this band gets a lot of hate, and while they are waaay below average I have enjoyed a few of their songs and although I wouldn't openly admit it to my mates, I have faith that these guys may actually progress!

I hope this one will be good. SCS and self-titled were fucking great albums. Yeah they weren't that complicated, but nobody said good music meant always meant putting complex time signatures and guitar wankage everywhere. I like their songs and style, no shame in liking them. The fact that they've kept going despite all that hate is admirable alone, and they're happy making music. I mean, isn't music all about having fun anyways?
