Terrible news.

What a creative album title.
|
| |
This Means Crabcore?
|
| |
"What a creative album title."
Seriously. How fucking generic can you get.

lol no one would care about the album title if it was a Radiohead album, instead it would be "oh wow maybe they'll adopt an aggressive style, can't wait!" also funny when people with awful taste (i.e. Pharoh) make comments about how bands like this suck

Good Music R.I.P.
The beginning of time - Jan 17th, 2012
Your comments just get dumber and dumber.
|
| |
They seem to be trying to go darker/harder, interesting.
If Radiohead made this their album title I'd actually poke even MORE fun at them.
|
| |
Meh Last Breath was good actually. If they keep going with that then maybe it will be above average. On the plus side no
Johnny Franck!
|
| |
Rosa Parks is a fag
|
| |
^Fully supportive of this sentiment
|
| |
I was subjected to listen to Attack Attack!'s last album when I was riding with my friends to get some Chinese food. Shit was hilariously bad.
|
| |
gross
|
| |
Rosa Parks is a fag
Wow, digging black veil brides and you're calling someone a fag?
|
| |
Didn't they just release a fucking album?
|
| |
Looking forward to this.
As a 4-piece they sound a lot more like they want to be taken seriously.
|
| |
jesus pharoh i mean come on no one can be this retarded
|
| |
"As a 4-piece they sound a lot more like they want to be taken seriously."
i really don't understand your though process here.
this band will never be taken seriously, they're one of the worst bands in existence
|
| |
not really
stop being overly dramatic
|
| |
You know your album name sucks when it as the same as the opener of the new Nickelback album...
|
| |
Whether you actually want to take them seriously is your own choice, but their newer tracks definitely give off that vibe.
|
| |
Gross.
|
| |
The word "war" should be banned from music forever.
|
| |
I thought his though process was nice.
|
| |
Hoping they'll continue to improve, Last Breath was pretty damn good if you compare it to their first stuff.
|
| |
Wait, isn't there another sucky album called 'This Means War'? or did they already release an album under that moniker? Why does it sound so familiar?
|
| |
5 finger death punch had a album called war is the answer
|
| |
last breath was at least not god awful, and what i heard from the new studio updates, theres a lot of improvement (that doesn't mean good, just improvement)
|
| |
Anyone know who's producing?
|
| |
shomo
|
| |
I wonder how many albums with that exact same title have been released now. Seriously, it's like they were trying to be generic.
|
| |
the cover reminds me of a black ops cover
|
| |
Support on that tour is way better than the headliner.
We'll see how this album goes. Band is ok. A lot of my friends like them because they are "SO HEAVY"
|
| |
Crap I just noticed the ghost inside is a supporter?! Well that's not right
|
| |
OF COURSE,
They come through Colorado but GY!BE doesn't...
|
| |
Wow why the fuck is TGI a supporter....
|
| |
this genre still exists? wohh i guess i wasnt hiding under a rock after all.
|
| |
If this article proves anything, it's that people prefer to hear bad news; seeing as this was approved by the mods and my similar post regarding the new Foxy Shazam album; 'The Church Of Rock and Roll' was sadly denied.
|
| |
Not worth a listen. Crabcore died in 09. Well it never existed, because it is the stupidest thing ever.
|
| |
Bad or not they still have their moments of being an ok band
|
| |
Album of 2012
|
| |
The Mayans foresaw this record.
|
| |
"I'm gonna be my unusual optimistic self and say this might be decent
due to all the studio updates and shitty members leaving the equation."
I'll reconsider this when Shomo leaves.
|
| |
I'm gonna be my unusual optimistic self and say this might be decent
due to all the studio updates and shitty members leaving the equation. [2]
|
| |
Named after the first track on new Nickelback album?
|
| |
last breath and criminal are actually pretty good songs. i have some sort of hope for this
|
| |
This Means Crabcore [2]
|
| |
Might as well be called "the rise of the crab people"!
|
| |
WHY IS THE GHOST INSIDE SUPPORTING THIS SHENANIGAN.
|
| |
*south park just came to mind*
|
| |
The truth: Their new songs are very generic. The only reason people are liking the new songs is because they sound more heavy metal.
NO CLEAN VOCALS.
NO SMALL ELECTRONICA BEATS IN THE BACKGROUND.
Bottom line is.. they drastically change their music style. A lot of people are going to miss it and others are going to praise it.
|
| |
so m/
|
| |
I wouldn't say the other guys don't have any talent, but it's just that when I'm listening to the band's new songs, my focus is usually on Shomo.
|
| |
I just watched their studio updates and it those vocals that Caleb does now sound A LOT like Mike Hranica. Both in delivery and just the sound of his screams.
|
| |
links to these studio updates?
edit: nvm found them
|
| |
this could be good... however pick a side is probably their worst song imo
|
| |
Album cover looks like 2 big dicks
|
| |

Well no one said it wasn't generic, it's just improvement.
Yes, there are still clean vocals, and yes, there still is synth in some songs
|
| |
There just more heavier because the clean vocals are coming from Caleb but there really isn't any synth.. Just some old fashion piano. I kinda disagree on the improvement, yes they sound better but If you listen to their self titled album it's very well put together.
|
| |
lol moshpotatoes
|
| |
I don't understand all the hate for AA's self-titled, let's see you writing better songs with breakdowns and autotune choruses! That album is just fun as hell, even though I don't really listen to it anymore. It's actually one of the better "metalcore-with-synth-and-high-cleans" albums imo. I will listen to this one too, because I like Last Breath. But still, god, they couldn't have picked a worse album title.
|
| |
"let's see you
writing better songs with
breakdowns and autotune
choruses"
or maybe that's the problem in the first place
|
| |
thats def their prob. This might be interesting, they just need to tone down the breakdowns
|
| |
"songs with breakdowns and autotune choruses!" "metalcore-with-synth-and-high-cleans".
Yeah, that's the problem. It's like saying they're one of the least smelly turds.
|
| |
Great. More shit from this shitty band.
|
| |
Album name = album name of the year.
|
| |
excited for this
|
| |
Gonna rule
|
| |
So many people are gonna rock out to this alone in their bedrooms

I know.. the self titled is very well made, especially compared to the first album. But the new songs are really lacking the feel of their old music, if you listen to some of the songs off their old album you can hear a lot of synth beats and other elements that you don't hear in their new songs, which I think Johny Franck was behind all of that, because if you listen to Johny's new band "The March Ahead" it has alot of great music with all the synth beats and a mix of heavy metal.

The self titled was way overproduced, IMO. The songs they did with Feldman, however, sounded great, but the songs were poorly written.
|

1.26.12 - Columbus, OH - Newport Music Hall = time to beat up scene kids.
|
| |
Oh they're still doing this?
ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh.
|
| |
''So many people are gonna rock out to this alone in their bedrooms''
damn, ive been busted..
|
| |
Bottom line is, this album is gonna attract more AA fans(the same people who talks shit about them before this new album came out, because they were Post-Hardcore/Electronica) which will make hypocrites out of a lot of annoying people which I already despised in the first place.
|
| |
I'm not sure I'll be looking into getting this, but it wouldn't hurt to try. The line-up changes have me thinking.
|
| |
But the new songs are really lacking the feel of their old music
But wouldn't that mean that the new album is.... listenable?
|
| |
Gotta love a band that has nothing but fun pissing off 10,000 pretentious hipsters. :D Rock on, kids!
|
| |
^Are you retard?
|
| |
the answer to that question is: yes
|
| |
Anyone who doesn't like Attack Attack! is a hipster.
McDiggitz has spoken.
|
| |
No, I'm sure there are many people who aren't hipster who still hate Attack Attack!
|
| |
Their screamer is so shit.
|
| |
we only care about Converge, everything else is shit, see, see
|
| |
"^Are you retard?"
lmao irony
|
| |
^not sure what irony is yet.
|
| |
Whats wrong with being a hipster?
Band is awesome, but I was listening to them before they were popular soooo...
|
| |
^i lold.
Once, I sat in a car in a parking lot blasting their first album. It pissed sooooo many people off. good times, good times.
|
| |
Album artwork is stupid, lol
|
| |
honestly, i dont understand why everyone bags on this band! they may not be the most talented posthardcore/metalcore band, but it doesnt mean you have to be a douche and hit them so fucking hard.
|
| |
i feel like BLASTING stick stickly after looking at this conversation...
attack attack where you at? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
Trst, vox, and mosh officially have zero allies on this website.
|
| |
^ is mike your boyfriend?
|
| |
"honestly, i dont understand why everyone bags on this band! they may not be the most talented posthardcore/metalcore band, but it doesnt mean you have to be a douche and hit them so fucking hard.
Digging: Emmure - Speaker Of The Dead
"
|
| |
LOL, Emmure.
But srsly this band gets a lot of hate, and while they are waaay below average I have enjoyed a few of their songs and although I wouldn't openly admit it to my mates, I have faith that these guys may actually progress!
|
| |
I hope this one will be good. SCS and self-titled were fucking great albums. Yeah they weren't that complicated, but nobody said good music meant always meant putting complex time signatures and guitar wankage everywhere. I like their songs and style, no shame in liking them. The fact that they've kept going despite all that hate is admirable alone, and they're happy making music. I mean, isn't music all about having fun anyways?
|
| |
^no fun
|
| |
^ likes it up the butt
|
| |
I can't wait for this, three days grace is the best band ever!
|
| |
emmure doesnt have anything to do with this shit.
|
| |
dannydropb's ratings make me want to kill someone, preferably him
|
| |
Stop hating nigs. Bad band isn't the worst band. And I read something about "all the hate" this band has got. I'm sure people genuinely enjoy this music because they like it. Not everyone looks at music and says "meh nothing innovative" and moves on. Sputnik is pretty closeminded but at the same time you've opened me up to more music...holy shit I is am are drunk
|
| |
So these guys have sucked since their EP, but I like the direction they are heading since their last release "Attack Attack!", I am minorly looking forward to this.
|
| |
This band absolutely sucks.
|
| |
