I'm really looking forward to listening to this after I finish this stupid Common App supplement.
|
| |
This album sucks ass.
|
| |
Ah, no way I can listen + review this now. Not done listening to their previous album yet.
*scratches band from to-write-about list*
|
| |
Have to review the band's most recent discography (including this album).
Going to see them co-headlining with Anberlin. I'm pretty stoked (Switchfoot is my friend's favorite band and Anberlin is mine).
|
| |
"San Diego rock band Switchfoot is streaming all but the last song of their upcoming release Vice Verses on ESPN."
Last song must be epic then........
|
| |
Avoiding this shit.
|
| |
its good so far. i expected it to be much worse.
|
| |
streaming on espn? What the hell?
|
| |
Really haven't listened to these guys since The Beautiful Letdown and Oh Gravity. Will probably give this a listen if I have nothing else to listen to for a while.
With that being said,
streaming on espn? What the hell? [2]

| |
low expectations. band's brilliance is far and few between and never seem to stick with their good ideas
so far it's bad
|
| |
haha holy shit this is TERRIBLE
|
| |
this is really bad. wow. actually thought this album would be recovery for them, but was i wrong.
|
| |
I'd rather lick a door knob at a truck stop bathroom then listen to this.
|
| |
the last song is gonna be amaaaaazing
|
| |
this band still exists? holy fuck.
|
| |
They really shouldn't.
|
| |
These guys named after skateboarding?
|
| |
This album is actually pretty well done. Alot of you assholes have no idea what you are talking about. "omfg this fuggen sux do they stil exist?" Switchfoot's a fan-driven passionate band out there today, which is hard to find in a time of shitty auto-tuned self-indulged talentless dance pop stars ruling the airwaves. At least Jon Foreman is screaming about what is in his heart and soul. 8th album. Everyone just knows them for their 4th and the singles Meant to Live and Dare You To Move. That was almost ten years ago. Listen closer.

| |
alot
argument is invalid
|
| |
They surf by the way dude. Not skate

Maybe, but this doesn't explain at all why the album is good.

| |
I don't plan to write a review on the comments section of the album stream...
|
| |
If you plan to write a review I will thoroughly enjoy reading it.
|
| |
I hope this is good, as I assume half of Switchfoot's setlist will be this.
|
| |
I'll be glad to when the 27th comes around man
|
| |
switchfoot was one of those got me into music bands for me so I'll probably love this whether its good or not. so far its pretty good.
also, waior why do you pop up in every switchfoot thread and both praise and bash switchfoot?
bet there will be some hardcore fanboy reviews posted.
|
| |
@Austini
Write a review for it when it's released and put some work into it, it will shut people up if it's decent.

Based on this statement - I would say your idea of music consists of what your high school plays during pep assemblies
|
| |
"also, waior why do you pop up in every switchfoot thread and both praise and bash switchfoot?"
i praise the good switchfoot
i bash this because it is not the good switchfoot

My entire iTunes is made out of a lot of fan-driven passionate bands. Hard to find? Not really.
|
| |
listened, thought this was really solid.
|
| |
Oh god, this sucks
Their old music shits all over this
|
| |
I like about half of this. Nothing is Sound is still their best.
|
| |
Also, I saw them play in Spokane last night and they played Where I Belong, which was really good.
|
| |
band has always sucked
|
| |
It's not as good as their last album, (Hello Hurricane) but it still has some pretty good songs.
|
| |
@Irving
Yeah, there's plenty of good bands around today. I was talking about overall top 40 this past decade. It's just been really boring. That same club beat. "drink drink dance dance sex sex etc etc" you know?
|
| |
boring...
|
| |
I used to like these guys... Then they went too far into the pop scene... I feel like they got a little cheesy too.
I do like Fall and Winter by Foreman though, it's just a nice folk album.
|
| |
How do I already know that this is going to be no different than what I'm expecting?
|
| |
This isn't that bad haha. I mean it's not amazing, but still...
