I wonder how long before someone drops an "IIINNNNNN WAVVVVEEEESSSSSSS" in this thread...
| |
that's so cute
| |
DDDDUUUUSSSSKKKKK DDDIIISSSMMMAAANNTTTLLLEEEDDDDD!!!!!!
| |
not very long.
IIINNNNNN WAVVVVEEEESSSSSSS.
| |
PULL
HARDER STRINGS
MARTYR
He will never top those genius lyrics
| |
That was pretty cool. It's going to be an enjoyable album.
| |
Sounds forced.
| |
this was actually more fun than In Waves.
| |
nice change of pace from the usual trivium stylings, diggin it
| |
Decent song, vocals sound good.
| |
mmmmeh
| |
This is one of the heaviest tunes I've heard from these guys. Diggin it quite a bit.
| |
Their heaviest song yet.
| |
Surprisingly good.
| |
lol Trivium
| |
A lot better than In Waves. Good song.
| |
Is good but nothing special, I prefer kirisute gomen or A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation
| |
the moment Matt Hefy said "we want to be more like Metallica" is the moment I started to hate Trivium.
| |
Songs pretty good.
| |
Has a Black Metal type of vibe to it, even though it's still Metalcore at it's roots.
I dig the Slayer-like pacing to the guitar solo. Good song overall. Much better than that last one.
| |
songs pretty cool. nothing amazing, but a lot better than In Waves
| |
Eh
| |
sounds better than anything i've heard from these in years ... which is nothing
| |
*these = them
| |
better than in waves
| |
not sure what to think. Whatever i'm thinking is a good thing though.
| |
I liked it.
| |
I have this cool method of predicting whether or not a song is going to be bland and uninspired. It's called, is the band Trivium?
| |
actually kind of sweet. wasnt expecting that.
| |
this sounds a lot better than in waves.
| |
That was awesome
| |
Me gusta
| |
These guys are now trying to sound like Swedish death/thrash now. Check out how similar they sound to Zonaria.
| |
Yeah, it has the exact same vibe of something like "Rendered In Vain."
| |
Good song, "In Waves" sucked
| |
stfu butcheredchildren
| |
I DIG WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
song is pretty typical Trivium
| |
This wasn't typical Trivium though.
| |
It sounds like Trivium without sounding like typical trivium imo. My friend didn't like In Waves at
first because of the fact that it wasn't heavy, so he should love this.
I liked In Waves better, though it took me a while to get past that intro. This one was good too,
album seems like it might be good, probably gonna get it when it comes out
| |
I AM HRE TO RIDE BIKE
| |
YOU WILL SQUEEZE UP THE
WIIIIIIINE
| |
intro sounds black metal
| |
It's Dimmu Borgir black metal but yeah, there are elements in the song that sound like that.
| |
Not bad, much better than the average "In Waves", I'm liking the heavy direction. Still missing the more complex "Shogun" sound, though.
| |
If I had heard absolutely nothing else from or about this band except for this one song, I'd be inclined to actually like them.
Buuuuut I'm gonna bet that most of the album's going to sound more like In Waves :T
| |
I see nothing new in this song. Even though, "In waves" is not an EXCELLENT song due to the fact that it repeats constantly "IIIIIIIIIIN WAAAAAAAAAAAAVES",its is better than this one. If I dont listen one interesting and decent track of the album....I will consider this album not worphy....
| |
Ehhh.
| |
One part of the song is moderately cool, although generic. The rest is just generic and listenable, but not really cool or interesting.
| |
This song is awesome!
| |
Better than In Waves, but from what I've heard, I doubt this will be as good as Shogun. Yes, I thought Shogun was good...
| |
I wish Heafy would learn how to control his screams instead of just belting out everything he has every single verse. It sounds way over the top and starts to get flat out annoying after a while.
It seemed like he started to realize it in Shogun and toned it down a little but now he's gone ahead and reverted right back to the Ascendancy style. Ugh.
| |
Yea this is definitely not great. IIIIINNNNNNNN WAVVVVEEEESSSSS was bad, but this is hardly better. This honestly doesn't even really sound like Trivium. It almost sounds like they are trying to take a ... black metal? ... approach...
| |
TOAST IS METAL!!
| |
STRAAANGE
MOUNTAIN
| |
Trivium playing a behemoth song.
| |
"TOAST IS METAL!!"
I read that right as he said it, lol'ed
| |
Every time I see a news bulletin about a new Trivium song, for some odd reason I want to listen to it. I guess I always think "hey, maybe it won't suck so much this time!"
I'm always wrong.
| |
I actually liked it. It brings dahh junnnzzz
| |
Band needs to go on hiatus, forever.
| |
abysmal
| |
Good song
| |
props for trivium this is your best!
song is like a solid 2/5
| |
Song became boring after 2 minutes.
| |
INNNNNNNNNNN WAVVVVVES was vastly more entertaining than this
(entertaining != good)
| |
I AM HERE TO RIDE BIKE
| |
ITS
NOT KURTZ
THAT MAKE THESE WAANDS OUT OF OPETH
| |
sucks
| |
30 second sample of every song off the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpJAE4LpT0s
The Clean Vocals sound serviceable enough.
| |
holy crap, really good compared to the in waves
| |
Damn that sample video is sounding quite nice.
| |
I'm not entirely sure what to think of it.
It sounds pretty good for what it is, I just don't know if "What it is" is my thing or not.
