It sounds like Trivium without sounding like typical trivium imo. My friend didn't like In Waves at
first because of the fact that it wasn't heavy, so he should love this.

I liked In Waves better, though it took me a while to get past that intro. This one was good too,

It's Dimmu Borgir black metal but yeah, there are elements in the song that sound like that.

Not bad, much better than the average "In Waves", I'm liking the heavy direction. Still missing the more complex "Shogun" sound, though.

If I had heard absolutely nothing else from or about this band except for this one song, I'd be inclined to actually like them.

I see nothing new in this song. Even though, "In waves" is not an EXCELLENT song due to the fact that it repeats constantly "IIIIIIIIIIN WAAAAAAAAAAAAVES",its is better than this one. If I dont listen one interesting and decent track of the album....I will consider this album not worphy....

Better than In Waves, but from what I've heard, I doubt this will be as good as Shogun. Yes, I thought Shogun was good...

I wish Heafy would learn how to control his screams instead of just belting out everything he has every single verse. It sounds way over the top and starts to get flat out annoying after a while.

It seemed like he started to realize it in Shogun and toned it down a little but now he's gone ahead and reverted right back to the Ascendancy style. Ugh.

Yea this is definitely not great. IIIIINNNNNNNN WAVVVVEEEESSSSS was bad, but this is hardly better. This honestly doesn't even really sound like Trivium. It almost sounds like they are trying to take a ... black metal? ... approach...
