Hey, it's kinda like that one Arctic Moneys song.
Nah, it's a pretty cool song. I'm normally pretty iffy when it comes to them, so this was a surprise.

*high-pitched fanboy scream*
| |
3/5
| |
Remember when this band was actually promising.
| |
It's good
| |
its very good
| |
don't stretch it
| |
The album will get a 3/5. Everyone will listen to it for a weekend. No one will care about it a month later.
| |
The fuck is this shit.
| |
hey lets go fishing
| |
@letsgofishing
round where i live this is gonna be bloody huge
| |
lol didn't expect Matt to be the backbone of vocals on this
| |
Good song, sounds a bit tame though.
| |
Arctic Monkeys recruited into the Homme army
| |
On paper that sounds like the best thing ever, but it ain't...
| |
Song was boring...
| |
lyrics were pretty basic but it was a fun song
| |
WTF? One of my favorite bands but this is just.... lazy.
| |
It felt....bad. The lyrics, which used to be so good, are just lax.
| |
Eh. It's aight. I guess I should be losing my shit over this but it was sub-par.
| |
Inclined to agree with spillingmercury on this one. Was alright, but wasn't really feeling it.
| |
One of my absolute favourite bands and this came out of nowhere!
I like the song but wtf, I was not expecting this.
| |
they like to just make songs to keep from boredom on tour. if i had to guess this won't be on the new album. could easily be wrong though
| |
Yeah, this is quite shit
| |
Wasn't impressed by this, hoping it won't be on the new album.
| |
UGH not another am album
they shouldve split up ages ago
| |
I was one of the few that actually thought Humbug was good. But this song is pretty rubbish...
| |
I forgot they existed.
| |
meh
| |
Bland and repetitive
| |
Old Yellow Bricks >>>>> Brick by Brick. song was okay and would have fitted nicely on Humbug but like most people here I'd much prefer a return to the sound of their first two albums.
| |
These guys like bricks
| |
Their first album was a breath of fresh air... fun unpretentious rock music. Don't blame them for trying to branch out but their newer stuff is pretty average.
| |
"they shouldve split up ages ago"
Are you mad? This is the perfect example of a pop band that gets better with each album.
| |
are we listening to the same band, WhiteNoise, the more this band "evolves" the more stale they get.
| |
First two albums were ace; it was the latest one that was a disappointment.
| |
Humbug is probably ranked number 3 as far as their LP's go, but I still love it. It's some great tracks on there like
Potion Approaching, and Cornerstone and also I believe Alex's vocals are the best on that album.
| |
The Arctic Queens of the Monkey Stone Age.
Sounds like 2 producers worked on it & it was all spliced up into one song.
| |
" the more this band "evolves" the more stale they get."
I dunno, I still hold the first album as one of my favourite albums ever but I loved how solid hubug felt. It does help that QOTSA are one of my favourite bands too.
| |
Hmmmm interesting.
| |
The music was good, but the lyrics went nowhere. Turner can weave a great story when he wants to, but this is not one of those cases.
| |
shitty shitty shitty
