it's really emotionally driven post-hardcore with really really great lyrics. The LP is a classic and the EPs are are awesome (except, ironically, for the Christmas one which is terrible).

If you don't like the LP, still download the three EP series 'Here, Hear' it's quite different and really good.

they have a split with Touch Amore (which is so, SO good. EP of the year maybe) if that helps you figure out what sort of band they are.

i think their latest LP was a bit of an anomaly because it's retardedly bad whilst virtually everything else they've done is actually quite good.

I've been listening to Vancouver over and over again. I'm gonna check out the split at some point. For some reason, I only have tracks 03 and 04 though... Since I think Touche Amore didn't want to give some of their songs away, I only got the La Dispute half.
