I'm surprised tiesthatbind didn't post this already.
Great song, really love Tremonti's singing.

| |
inb4 ties
|
| |
Not as good as Isolation imo
|
| |
Song is pretty good, preferred the first one they put up from the new album though. Can't wait for it to be released.
|
| |
Cool song! I'm digging it.
|
| |
FUCK YEA ALTERBRIDGE
|
| |
agreed, I prefer Isolation.
|
| |
Dug Isolation, this is pretty standard fare though. Still want ze album!
|
| |
This isn't BAD though, it just didn't do much for me. Like, i'm no more excited for the album than i was before listening to this track.
|
| |
Yeah, exactly - it didn't change your outlook for the album. We know it'll still rule.
|
| |
Song is pretty meh.
|
| |
yea sums up the band
|
| |
teh shiznit
|
| |
i enjoyed it. sounds like a good middle of the album song.
|
| |
Too bad it's the album closer.
|
| |
I don't really see this as an album closer.
I know it is, but it just doesn't fit in my opinion.
|
| |
shit band
|
| |
I really dig this song. Sure, it doesn't have a Tremonti solo, but Mark and Myles sound awesome playing off each other's vocals here, and hopefully Mark sings more on the album.
Isolation is better though.
|
| |
creamcrazy must be happy
|
| |
Definitely better than the other one
|
| |
Have always liked Alter Bridge. Think this song is a LOT BETTER than the first song that was posted.
|
| |
creamcrazy just shat a brick
|
| |
haven't heard the other song but I really like this! alter bridge is one of the best mainstream bands out there!
|
| |
Song is awesome, better than isolation and isolation was great.
|
| |
wait people on here like this shit band what is this i don't even
|
| |
Awesome song by an awesome band.
|
| |
Great song, really love Tremonti's singing.
He sings?
|
| |
Yeah he started to do lead vocals on this album and did backups on everything before this (including Creed).
|
| |
Wow, didn't know that.
|
| |
even worse yeah
|
| |
solid song =)
|
| |
Better than Creed.
|
| |
I didn't much care for Blackbird
This sounds pretty promising though
|
| |
song is good . be honest people
|
| |
A lot of people are much to kvlt to enjoy straight forward hard rock/metal anymore.
|
| |
well straightforward doesn't have to mean generic and bland, which is what this band is
|
| |
If your a moron ya.
|
| |
If your a moron ya.
...
|
| |
Sorry guys.
|
| |
Generic...so there's hundreds of singers like Myles running around in hard rock bands today? Hundreds of guitarists that are more skilled than Tremonti? The random hate comments for this band amuse me.
|
| |
metal m/
|
| |
metal m/
ahhhahhahhaha i fucking get that
|
| |
Hope you didn't rack your brain too hard figuring that out.
|
| |
"Generic...so there's hundreds of singers like Myles running around in hard rock bands today? Hundreds of guitarists that are more skilled than Tremonti? The random hate comments for this band amuse me"
omg different opinions must = random hate
and i don't care how "skilled" Tremonti is or if Kennedy can hold a high note, their songs are absolute shit.
|
| |
F*CK YEA ALTER BRIDGE
|
| |
He was just wondering how you can call them generic when they have basically no peers in the genre with their level of talent on any front.
|
| |
They sound like just another boring radio rock band based on the couple songs I've heard.
|
| |
lol@gmork
|
| |
They are another radio rock band.
As for no one matching their talent...
Avenged Sevenfold has much "shredding"
Breaking Benjamin has a better drummer
Red has a vocalist fairly on par with Kennedy
No one cares about the bassist
The only difference is that they're not all in the same band. Honestly, the solos are mainly what put these guys over their contemporaries. Most everything else is pretty generic. I can still like them though :P
|
| |
a rare example of an emim comment that I can agree with
they're basically the epitome of generic rock, and nobody should have to waste their time explaining why when it's so obvious
|
| |
I'm not hating nor loving them. They're just a band I enjoy, though I realize they're not saving the genre or anything like that.
|
| |
lol @ porch, the epitome of generic rock isn't nickelback, it's not saving abel, it's not 3 days grace, its not hinder, its not hellya, it's not theory of deadman, it's that damn generic Alterbridge band.
|
| |
Ha ha, Theory of a Deadman was on the radio and I thought it was Nickelback up until the DJ said who the band was...
|
| |
That happens a lot nowadays man. I can understand somebody finding Alterbridge not appealing because of their slightly standard way of writing, but to say they are the epitome of generic rock is just ignorant.
|
| |
"the epitome of generic rock isn't nickelback, it's not saving abel, it's not 3 days grace, its not hinder, its not hellya, it's not theory of deadman, it's that damn generic Alterbridge band"

|
| |
The drummer from Black Stone Cherry = best mainstream rock drummer today
|
| |
They're not generic. They have a very original sound, especially for the genre they're in. I'm fine if
they're not people's cup of tea, but they are not the "epitome of generic rock" just because they use
a fairly typical rock structure for their songs. There's not another band in their genre that sounds
like them. What's next, "all their songs sound the same"?
|
| |
yeah sure, that works too
|
| |
Sometimes you just have to smile. If this is generic, then I don't know what isn't. Please.
|
| |
"the epitome of generic rock isn't nickelback, it's not saving abel, it's not 3 days grace, its not
hinder, its not hellya, it's not theory of deadman, it's that damn generic Alterbridge band"
lol at this. I'd rather not know who said it.
|
| |
If this is generic, then I don't know what isn't.
favorite bands: Aerosmith, Alter Bridge, Anberlin, Breaking Benjamin, Coldplay, Dream Theater, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, The Jacksons, Linkin Park, Lostprophets, Ludwig van Beethoven, Michael Jackson, My Chemical Romance, P!nk, Paramore, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, RED, Rise Against, Skillet, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
lol
|
| |
yeah ?
|
| |
lol tchaikovsky and mozart are so out of place in that list of bands
|
| |
Haters gonna' hate.
|
| |
I forgot to add a /sarcasm because I failed to realize the simpletons I was having a discussion with needed a little extra help.
|
| |
you should add an /stupidity after all your comments instead
|
| |
You basically do that for me by being first to respond.
|
| |
that doesn't even make sense bullitt
FOCUS, you can do this
|
| |
Gmork is bullitt???
mind = blown
|
| |
Yep, it's me alright.
|
| |
Cool, I had wondered where you had gone to.
|
| |
Got banned for an argument I had with Porch actually, not hard to believe I'm sure.
|
| |
ah, that was funny. you fucking freaked out
all in the past now though
|
| |
I never saw the argument but I remember it, ha ha ha
|
| |
It was a dandy, I kind of snapped.
"all in the past now though"
Yep, we make for entertaining pissing contests at the very least, I guess it's positive in the end for everyone else.
|
| |
"lol tchaikovsky and mozart are so out of place in that list of bands"
Why? If they're on the base and they're two of my favorites why shouldn't I put them in?
|
| |
snapping on sputnik really gmork lol
|
| |
Not me right?
|
| |
you should add an /stupidity after all your comments instead
poopular you made me laugh so hard just then
|
| |
Poopular is the "/stupid" after most of my comments.
|
| |
well done
|
| |
anyway this song is pretty good
|
| |
