Each album as it came out became was my favourite at the time, besides EC which sort of came to late as my interest was changing to a lot of different genres.
Overall though i think it's more like
ACBtLD > FC = WAtT > CE
love this band to death though, they're the reason im on this site and actually got into music at all

Pretty stoked but I wish they'd try a new producer to really push them, like Ross Robinson. The guy they've used for City and CE sucks, in my opinion. Dude ALWAYS brings out the best of any band in every album he produced. The guy they've used for City and CE sucks IMO

my ranking of thursday albums starts with Full Collapse and then works its way chronologically. Want
something more like Autumn Leaves Revisited. I liked that direction on City.

I don't think I could pick a favourite record of there's. Take the experimentation of Common Existence, the rawness of Full Collapse and the atmosphere of A City... and you've got the perfect Thursday record.

this record feels like a radical departure from our earlier records but in substance it feels like a return.

By thursday standards it was an awful album. Besides one or two songs the record is a throw away.
Full Collapse is still their best. With War All The Time and Common Existence following.

I can agree with that. FC has some well written songs on it...poor Geoff can't stay in tune to save his life though. Him trying to sing is like nails on a chalkboard.
