We kept the core of the team together, all we need to do now is sign Niemi and Hammer. I like what they're doing actually, keeping the team young, there was NO way we could have re-signed all of those great players after they proved themselves in the play-offs, but at least we got some top prospects for them. All teams in the NHL are going to be in the same boat come this time next year when the cap hit gets knocked down.

Yes I listened for some nostalgia, because as much as I hate to admit it, I used to love this band in middle school. But of course the song was boring as hell like everything else they've done.

But yeah Locrian, it legitimately sucked.

How did it suck though? There's a difference between finding something to be plain, and it technically sucking. They've improved drastically here, and this is coming from someone who was never a fan of them outside their live shows.

i hate the guitars in this song, they just sound awful to me. this album will be another guilty pleasure of mine like their other ones. they just get so boring after awhile and there's something about the music that makes it just not that great at all. it sounds congested.

I don't think making the same songs over and over again would be considered improvement. They all have the exact same structure, boring screams with next to no range, and generic melodic-metalcore instrumentals.

Except this doesn't sound like their old material, so yeah.

I reported you because I was offended. And on the first quote, I was explaining how drab it is to give terrible bands so much attention. I don't like the band. But when good bands have news it usually gets 10-20 comments. While when there's something about this band or Avenged sevenfold, there's 200+ comments of people just saying the same thing over and over because they know that they are making a difference by saying things like "this band sucks ass"

If you dont like metalcore thats fine, any metalcore is going to sound bad to you. But if you like this kind of music than there really is no reason to hate them besides the fact that they play in a very safe zone that they feel comfortable with.

I am aware that TDWP is pretty much the fisher price "my first metalcore" for music (and even that title should be given to underoath) but that doesnt warrant all the hate they get, not in the least.

The reason I like this is because the melodic bits are darker sounding, which works really well for zombie themed metalcore/deathcore.

Look at Graves Of Valor and Through The Eyes Of The Dead, or The Black Dahlia Murder (though they're just melodeath). Zombie theme = darker melodic riffs and gross sounding vocals.

I can never take anything this band does studio recording wise serious ever since seeing them live. . worst live show I have ever seen. . even tops owl city in it's terribleness

Not at all, I love underoath and they are far and away more advanced then TDWP, but its hard to deny they are more accessible.
