"Certain people doubted this album so much because "Sleepwalker" wasn't to their liking. All I can say is that "Deep Blue" will make metal history in music, The Technicality on this is immense and a big progression. The song writing and musicianship is truly remarkable. This band will shun a lot of haters and force them to return into their dark corner. 10-15 Years from now People will remember Parkway Drive as one of the best Metal bands ever alongside Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc... Band is pretty okay for a Metalcore band but there are tons of other better metalcore bands that blow these guys out of the water. And to the idiot who said this album will go down in the history of Metal: dude, you might as well give up on life if this is the best you think Metal can offer. My God.....

"Parkway Drive have premiered a visually stunning and brutally disturbing masterpiece of a video for their first single, “Sleepwalker,” from their forthcoming album, Deep Blue.

Written and co-directed by Winston McCall along with friend of the band Aaron Briggs of Motion Circus, “Sleepwalker” transcends music videos of the past decade with intense, apocalyptic first-person footage of the nightmarish destruction of Brisbane, set to the tumultuous tones of Parkway Drive’s first single from Deep Blue."

Resist Records bringing the adjectives/hyperbole.

I thought they were heading for a post-apocalytic slant for a bit, excellent video nonetheless. More catchy riffs brought to the proverbial table, Deep Blue should be a plethora of good workout music but nothing groundbreaking overall.

Song was boring, as expected. I kinda liked the video, though.

I just can't see any reason to listen to Parkway Drive when there are talented and interesting metal bands (like Opeth) out there.

“ppl who bag parkway out clearly have no idea what they offer to Australian music lol”

The only thing PWD do for the Australian music scene is take away attention from bands that actually deserve it.

There are plenty of bands in Australia that work just as hard, if not harder than them who don’t get noticed because they don’t play this type of music.

And I don’t mind PWD to some extent.

I think it's just plain stupid to like a band that you think works hard but doesn't have that much talent. It's almost like supporting a political party that has shitty policies but works hard to get 'em through.

Strange how so many people bag them out, yet their average album ratings are quite impressive. KWAS was an outstanding release, Horizons, however, wasn't as promising. Don't judge Deep Blue until you've actually heard it. Sleepwalker isn't great but who says that the rest of the album can't be?

I like the song... the video was pretty sick

There are other bands who should be as big as them, like Break Even or Hopeless(those are just the hardcore bands too).
I actually like how they bring lots of great supports to their shows and help promote other hardworking bands.
But parkway definitely deserve to be where they are atm. Just watch the first European tour part of the dvd(you will know what i mean)
