My friend told me to listen to these guys today. Didn't really think much of it. That's just one song though.

The only thing I don't like about the cd is the vocals. Really, this guy's clean melodic singing doesn't fit this overall very interesting band.

idk how you guys think that spencer's cleans are bad. that man can fucking sing. his screams aren't as good as the past vocalists but they still don't really take away from the overall product.

Actually I think this song is one of the less good tracks on the album. Letter Experiment and Jetpacks Was Yes! are my favorite for now. Great album overall.

Not sure how I feel about this band yet...it's like a mix of Linkin Park and Meshuggah. The video sucked...was looking at water the whole fucking time.

The Linkin Park comparisons need to stop. Seriously. Stop. They don't make sense. They clearly come from people who have no idea what they're talking about. And it's not that I find it insulting, I'm a fan of Chest Benningtons voice. But the comparison is wrong. This guy... I'd compare his singing more to the guy from Saosin, or some of the singing from Sikth.

I like this. I will be listening to more of their work. (And I like the video. I'm sure they didn't have a huge budget. I'd rather a video look good than reveal budget problems.)

you really can't control what bands are compared to other bands.

I love this album, and I love the music video.

Those who were annoyed by the glass probably just wanted to see the band members to criticize their appearance. I thought that it was a good choice to have them masked. It makes you focus more on the music, which IMO is the most important aspect.

Of course I can't control who people compare. But... Some things make sense, and others don't. For instance, I can't stop you from claiming The Offspring sound like Rush. But I know that from a technical standpoint- and probably most standpoints- that's just a bad comparison, as there is nothing there.

And that's how I feel about comparing them to Linkin Park. You may as well compare them to ANY band for all the sense that makes.

You clearly either don't listen to Linkin Park, or are tone deaf and/or have no musical knowledge. This literally, factually is not like Linkin Park. Linkin Park does not write melodies like that, they do not tune their guitars like this, they do not write riffs like this. As a musician, I find the comparison borderline offensive.

Ever notice that people who don't like something will try to compare it to something else they don't like, but because they don't actually listen to what they don't like, the comparison is usually a ridiculous stretch? I think that might be happening.
