Can you honestly tell me you believe Coldplay has done anything worthwhile?
They write slightly different variations of the same exact riff repeatedly and the lyrics are next to nothing. Don't get me started on his voice... I might spontaneously combust if i have to deal with the reverb yelling one more fucking time.

I enjoy them, if you don't so be it but they put on a hell of a live show and I enjoy their records. I agree their material is repetitive at times but I don't mind that much.

I'm sure the lights were pretty, but that doesn't make them suck any less.

I don't care what anyone says, A Rush of Blood to the Head is a good album

truth of the matter is Coldplay's entire catalog is for the most part incredibly solid (even the overblown X&Y is pretty good too.) just I guess its easy to hate on them because their Top 40/they play soft ballads or whatever dumb reason people wanna hate-because in the end the excuses are absolute bull.

saw them live a couple of days ago, they have a excellent live show, really, and i so glad they played politik and finished the song with a classical-esque beautiful piano solo, which is the proof they re talented musicians

Just listened, pretty good song. They've done much much better though. The crowd noise kinda ruins what sounds like a pretty cool section near the end though...

Sure, some of their songs sound like others and sure, Chris Martin is pretty much an asshole, but the guy is also an insanely talented vocalist with a heavenly range.
