As others have said, the early material has some flavor to it - this stuff since, is far from unique.

This is pretty good, I dono what you guys are saying about those cleans. theres much worse out there. But I agree to an extent, it needs a bit of work.

as far as the harsh vocals are concerned, and the overall music backing the band it's all pretty tight, on the instruments behalf it's all pretty much their old stuff with a few new tricks thrown in.

overall though, I like it alot

comments I expected something along the lines of Emmure's attempts at clean vocals, when in my
opinion and experience at least, they're just some generic slightly less-than-talented -core genre
cleans.

goodbye to the gallows was good for one or two listens. everything since then is un fucking bearable.

Felony is one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever had the misfortune of listening to, and I didn't much like The Complete Guide. I like The Respect Issue though, despite its complete lack of musical merit. Goodbye to the Gallows I really like for a plethora of reasons, none of which really need mentioning though.

And the name is actually the reason I checked these guys out hella days ago. It's one of my favorites in the genre.

The clean vox are painful and the rest is just alright. I miss their demo days, when The Artificial ruled my face and then lulled me into a relaxed state then ruled my face again.

Since the band went from 2 guys who made a decent unique record to 5 guys who turned it into generic garbage. Its insane they even share the same name, only one of the guys who founded the band is still even in it and its obvious all the artistic direction left with the original singer.

I can understand that, there is a big difference between this and their very first material. However, I loved their self titled so it's no surprise I love this too.
