The fact that they're playing so much new stuff lately is a pretty good sign in relation to Glassjaw. I'm actually pretty confident we'll get new music this year. Besides, legal troubles are the culprit with their inability to release anything. I'm pretty sure they signed a three-record deal with Warner, have lineup troubles all the time, literally went off-radar for two-three years with no creative output for the label, and decided to book and play their own tours with no label support, which basically means they are/were in a prime position for some Major Label Ass Rape

Instead of growing to be absolutely incapable of waiting for this, I care less about them potentially releasing a new album every day that they don't now. It's just been so long I hardly even listen to GJ anymore whereas about a year ago and any time before that I was listening just about every day.

I was lucky enough to go to this with some friends and honestly I couldn't be more happy with the set. One of the top three shows I've been to.

Well I figured it was sarcasm, I just had to ask because that's fucking retarded. Bands grow on and off people, I didn't even say I didn't like Glassjaw anymore, just that I'm gradually liking them less. But no, my comment meant I think bands that stop releasing things become irrelevant.

And i too have liked glassjaw less over the years, EYEWTKAS which was what got me hooked on them rarely gets spins nowadays.

And considering their limited discography I agree somewhat

^Lol okay my bad, glad to see you aren't a douche bag. I just was pissed because I actually do really like GJ and I hate when my words get twisted into something I didn't say (although I did make it sound a lot more negative than I meant to, so I don't really blame you in retrospect).

But yeah Ill definitely pick up the album when it drops. I guess I've just sort of gone from being excited about its release to just being annoyed with the fact that it hasn't been.

Fanboy would mean just a fan of the band really, with the connotation of being way more into them than what is considered normal. I was using it to say you were attacking me because I said something about the band you were a "fanboy" of.
