cool... been looking forward to this
|
| |
wow nice.. gonna listen to this
|
| |
time to pop 15 boners
|
| |
"Red Flag" owns "White Flag" but first 6 are pretty good. gorillaz always takes a couple of listens to grow...
|
| |
and how is Plastic Beach an awful name, it's obviously an allusion to sex on the beach where there are so many condoms left on the sand afterward that it looks like it's made out of plastic
|
| |
i always thought its sth with the environment... how wrong I was ;c
|
| |
found what i'll be doing for the next hour or two
|
| |
wow that may be the most disgusting metaphor i've ever heard
|
| |
ehhh it's kind of boring
|
| |
Thought people were supposed to keep personal opinions out of news articles
|
| |
mods and staff are above journalistic integrity.
|
| |
integrity? don't you mean regulation?
|
| |
actually you don't know what you meant, you're just a dumbass trying to use words you don't understand
tell me i'm pretentious
|
| |
I like the title of the album, too!
And it has leaked Β)
|
| |
Dave de Sylvia STAFF...if this is anything like demon days, i will rub it in my pubic region...
|
| |
It doesn't top Demon Days, but I've heard far worse and unoriginal album titles like "Break the Silence", can't tell you how many times I've heard that one.
|
| |
pretty good so far, i'm on the (third song)?
|
| |
goddamn great album, i've had it on repeat since midnight. plastic beach has more to do with the synthetic world people have made for themselves than sex on the beach, or at least that's what i got from it. kind of a concept album where albarn has recycled scraps left over from the 80s and made something modern and new.
|
| |
its pretty good.
|
| |
actually you don't know what you meant, you're just a dumbass trying to use words you don't understand
tell me i'm pretentious
i don't think you're pretentious, but i do know that:
a. i am smarter than you
b. journalistic integrity refers to a set of professional commitments adopted by journalists
While various existing codes have some differences, most share common elements including the principles of — truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness and public accountability — as these apply to the acquisition of newsworthy information and its subsequent dissemination to the public.

feel free to pretend you didn't read that to avoid any further embarrassment.
|
| |
I'm 6 songs in, and it's really not that great. I've yet to hear any melodies or anything that's really made me go "Yeah! This rules!" like their other two albums did constantly. It feels more like a collaboration of a bunch of random artists that happens to involve Damon Albarn than a Gorillaz album so far.
|
| |
"actually you don't know what you meant, you're just a dumbass trying to use words you don't
understand"
yeah that was kind of unwarranted, who pissed in your cereal this morning
album is pretty good so far, I really like Stylo
|
| |
pretty cool so far. i'm a pretty big gorillaz fan so i'm gonna be listening to this a lot the next few weeks.
|
| |
gotta agree with Zip here
|
| |
im a big fan of this.
awesome.
|
| |
Empire Ants is the only song that really hit me as something I'd listen to again. Pretty boring album unfortunately. I feel that half the guest appearances were there for the sake of being there rather than because they made the album better, which they did not.
Incredibly disappointed.
|
| |
let's see how this turns out
|
| |
feel free to pretend you didn't read that to avoid any further embarrassment.
integrity refers to an adherence to 'proper' moral boundaries. by posting his opinion, the OP is not dealing with anything moral so much as he is with what is commonly expected in journalism (impartiality to avoid controversy)
your wiki definition as it's written does justify your use of it. i thought of that term referring to honesty and holding oneself accountable more so than the 'gentleman's code' its definition implies
|
| |
not sure how I feel about this record so far. need to let it sink in a little more.
|
| |
Liking this more as it progresses. First few tracks were very disappointing but this could be rather great.
|
| |
I'm diggin this so far, on the 3rd track.
|
| |
Wow, Rhinestone Eyes is the shit.
|
| |
Empire Ants and Glitter Freeze are where its at.
|
| |
kinda sucks, just sayin
|
| |
you really suck, just sayin
|
| |
well duh. everyone knows that
|
| |
Kinda sad that the first vocals you hear are Snoop's
|
| |
kay, just wondering if the beast was self-aware
I suck too, but you know, different way.
|
| |
Stylo is gonna be Hit of The Year.
|
| |
speaking of selfaware http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=are+you+skynet
|
| |
Hahaha, best thing ever
|
| |
Loving how retro this is sounding
|
| |
Wow, this kinda sounds like De La Soul to me, and that's not a bad thing. I'm really liking this so far. Doesn't top Demon Days, but dammit, if I wanted Demon Days I'd go listen to Demon Days. It's all about the Plastic Beach up in here!
|
| |
Rhinestone Eyes is sooooo good
|
| |
^ 123
Actually really digging this, mainly Rhinestone Eyes
|
| |
