Just listened to the guy for the first time. He sounds like every single other tight pants wearing guy, nothing special about him. Owens isn't a lot better but he's still better.

Owens was better and yesterdays rising is/was terrible. I mean even back when that kind of music was still somewhat fresh they still werent good. They had one great song off a somewhat ok EP. "Time Holds Truth" Then they came out with their LP "Lightworker" and the shit was scrub tastic.

Drummer from underminded is cool though but they really should just rename the band.

Craig was a bad singer and he was ugly, that's how LGBT people dislike him so.

I literally cringe every time I hear him scream, it's like trying to listen to the girl from In This Moment scream.

Craig owens is and always has been hooooorrible. His voice is just so annoying and whiny I could never get into it. If you actually listen to yesterdays rising's newer songs on their myspace you'll hear that brandon bolmer actually has an amazing voice and a wider vocal range in my opinion. I still think this band won't be anything special but at least they have chance now.

Chiodos was alright, just never really stood out for me (and live, they sounded pretty bad) So Im actually excited to see what new music they'll release.

And yesterdays rising is a pretty good band, def liked them more than Chiodos (although I haven;t heard lightwork yet-Im judging them by their 2 ep's)

@witchxrapist: you might want to re-read that conversation. I said that I liked his vocals. You said you didn't because they were strained. I shrugged it off and said nothing about the quality of strain put into his vocals.

As much as I hate to admit it, the departure of Craig Owens most likely saw the departure of Chiodos all together. Not the fact that they will be bad with their new vocalist, but they will lose a lot of fans. I'll still enjoy them while they're around.

Craig ruined Bone Palace Ballet for me.

Eh this guy will fit Chiodos I'm sure, but they wont move out of that "owens made this band" situation, kinda like Blessthefall, and Craig mabbits touch of failure.

Craig Owens though not a great singer made the band extremely unique. Bash his screaming and his high, high pitched voice but their will be no one that can replace him. Goodbye Chiodos I enjoyed your music. P.S. ShanevsDCsniper great comment about Anthony Green that is one amazing singer
