Huh. I can't believe Taco Bell would choose to promote bands like DGD, Iwrestledabearonce, and Whitechapel. Props to them though. They must read sputnik or something because I haven't really seen these bands anywhere other than here (beside Mae).

Looked at the full list. it's really cool to see math the band, foxy shazam, and mc lars on there too. i guess taco bell can do more things right than just the cheesy gordita crunch.

pretty cool of taco bell. sure it's just a marketing ploy to appeal to avid music listeners and concert goers, but they are benefiting the bands so i approve regardless.

i think All American Rejects being listed as "up and coming" is the most ridiculous. I also find the fact that these bands got to share inspirational taco bell related tour stories rather fun too.

500$ in taco bell prolly wouldn't really last that long at all... But I would be stoked anyway...

wow.... pumping a band full of shitty fast food is a good way to make them less healthy and therefor less productive. The prestigious Taco Bell grant should only go to bands like Brokencyde.

I defy anyone to try a steak quesadilla and tell me Taco Bell sucks without lying. It is impossible. And this is an interesting list.

Taco Bell is one of my favorite fast-food places (behind Jack In The Box and Subway). And I like the bands they're supporting...especially Mae, who (if you guys didn't know) haven't had an official record label since 2007 (might be back on Tooth and Nail now), and have been working all year to raise money to build a house for a needy family (and actually working on the house, too).

Good Old War...surprised Taco Bell is looking out for a band like them.
