It's ok. Hate Everyone and Do better kind of suck, but some of the songs are real winners.

might grow on me.

theres nothing as epic as The Writhing South or Admit it!!! though so that's kind of disappointing.

so far i havent been too impressed. Mara and Me is a good song. sounds like their other albums which to some is a good thing but i kind of am wanting something more progressive from them. the songs that have an electronic sound all are too similar

ya this is underwhelming.

I mean, after In Defense of the Genre and ...Is a real boy you'd think Max Bemis would have higher expectations. This is just your average rock album with a lot of catchy songs and some occasionally brilliant moments, with some filler sprinkled in.

tbh i hated the tracks they promoted this with over the last couple months but now listening to it i really like it.

you really can not expect in album to be as good as In Defense Of The Genre. this album is still really good though.

This is good, but no where near as good as In Defense of the Genre or Is a Real Boy...But then again I wasn't expecting it to be.

yeah, his lyrics have always had religious themes. But always in a comedic tone. "Jesus Died a Jew" for example.

after a first impression this is pretty meh, I mean I feel like it's ...Is A Real Boy's bonus disc, except extended. I don't know what they were on when they said 'Botch influence,' as I've yet to hear it. Fed to Death was one of the better songs. I like it, but I don't love it.

it's not heavy enough...i hear the 'pop' but where is the 'punk'? Pretty decent after one listen, though it'll take a few more spins (and the last 3 tracks) to make a final decision.

URRGGGGGGGGG to the converting to Christianity thing

I'm fine with all religions, and i'm not a religious person, but Bemis seemed the perfect embodiment of secular, reformed judiasm...and the first song that I ever heard from say anything and the one that hooked me was 'alive with the glory of love' ... also the no cursing anymore element is unnerving

whatever i guess, if he's happy then good for him...

The solo in "Do Better" alone makes this better than IDOTG.
