sounds like a scam to me
|
| |
Listening to it now.
|
| |
alright guys, its safe, no need to thank me
|
| |
News title is an order and I have complied.
|
| |
First half is your typical boring repetitive heavy BTBAM song but it gets so good as it goes on. They're really awful at writing heavy parts.
|
| |
I posted this 2 hours ago.
|
| |
Well, the song didn't go online until 6EST. And your article, for whatever, reason, wasn't approved.
|
| |
Weird...people have been commenting on it since since 6. Whatever.
|
| |
he sabotaged your article bro
|
| |
Oh, well I didn't see it (still don't) and it isn't in the news pane. And like I said, they didn't put it live (allegedly) until 6PM....I didn't even get the e-mail from their publicist until after 4.
|
| |
Yeah its cool, I posted it around 5, http://sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=10699#lastpost.
I've been posting a bunch of stuff lately, but none of it seems to get approved for whatever reason.
|
| |
Okay, I'll get someone to look into it. This article will supersede yours just in the interest of timeliness though.
Reading yours, though, I can already tell you that paraphrasing press releases is a bad idea.
|
| |
Excellent song
|
| |
Ehh. The heavy parts are mostly boring and rehashed, but the rest of the song is cool. Diggin the solo too.
|
| |
love the song
|
| |
shit rocks
|
| |
my pants creamed at the second half of the song, first half was typical btbam as cocaine said but the second half is absolutely amazing.
|
| |
vocals ruin what enjoyment I had, typical btbam is typical. I cannot sit through a song with those incessant **** vocals. They stop for a second, and whats this? Vocals even more irritating? WHAT??!? Those whisper or whatever vocals tried way too hard and were just terrible
|
| |
dont listen then and stop bitching
|
| |
I think I will wait for this album to come out.
|
| |
dont listen then and stop bitching
idiotic response
|
| |
Sounds like Colors 2.0. I approve of this.
|
| |
Just because the first half is normal heavy BTBAM doesn't mean it isn't total rape. The final part of the song is one of the best parts of any BTBAM song ever. Seriously fucking awesome.
|
| |
Insanely good.
|
| |
This was my first exposure to BTBAM and I've gotta say I'm really impressed.
|
| |
i have to admit the next few listens after the first i wasnt sure about it but now i love it.
|
| |
i just dont like ppl talking shit about my band haha
|
| |
Sounds like Colors 2.0.
I don't approve of this.
|
| |
Yeah 1st listen was a litttle iffy, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th listens have been ORGASMIC
|
| |
everything but vocals are good as usual.
|
| |
i gotta get into these guys
|
| |
Dude, noooo. His vocals sound insane on this; at least twice as good as on colors.
And I personally thought he sounded great on colors
|
| |
Sounds awesome. The end is great.
The cover art looks cool too. I wish they would just post it already, I want to see it without all those buttons all over it.
Also, song lengths just released. I'm pretty sure they are real.
1. "Mirrors" - 3:38
2. "Obfuscation" – 9:15
3. "Disease, Injury, Madness" - 11:03
4. "Fossil Genera – A Feed from Cloud Mountain" - 12:11
5. "Desert of Song" - 5:33
6. "Swim to the Moon" - 17:54
Total: 59:34
Eighteen minute long song FTW.
|
| |
I put poop@dontspammeplz.com
|
| |
holy shit awesome
|
| |
Pretty awesome, pumped for this album.
|
| |
I'm loving this more each time
|
| |
I love BTBAM, but I'm not feeling this that much. Maybe it'll grow on me
|
| |
The drums are godly in this.
|
| |
Sounds great.
|
| |
Wow, I have to say I believe this is one of BTBAM's best songs...ever.
|
| |
So very epic. Every listen makes the song better. You can't notice every epic riff or keyboard note the first time around.
|
| |
I'm dying to get this album. BTBAM never fails to impress.
|
| |
@golgoroth consider your cherry popped.
and has anyone scrolled down to see that the featured artist they have is Emmure?
|
| |
1. "Mirrors" - 3:38
2. "Obfuscation" – 9:15
3. "Disease, Injury, Madness" - 11:03
4. "Fossil Genera – A Feed from Cloud Mountain" - 12:11
5. "Desert of Song" - 5:33
6. "Swim to the Moon" - 17:54
This track list is right. Mirrors is a mellower track completely, Swim to the Moon is so far received as being the most amazing thing ever and apparently one song is just a bluesy thinger. I bet Desert of Song.
|
| |
waior, why do you always talk about albums way ahead of them leaking/being released, do you have connects? or are you talking out of your ass?
|
| |
Awesome song. Can't wait for this album now.
|
| |
Guess you'll have to wait until the release date to vindicate me.
|
| |
sounds great. cant wait
|
| |
Who said Waior has to have connections? Track descriptions were posted weeks ago.
|
| |
Relinquished approves
|
| |
I'm thinking its another concept/one long song cd judging by the ending
|
| |
3.892392/5
|
| |
seriously kiera sometimes i forget why youre part of the site but then you say stuff like
I'm thinking its another concept/one long song cd judging by the ending
and then it makes it all clear.
|
| |
yes I point out the obvious and make myself a object of ridicule
|
| |
dont be so frank, it sounds like youre trying to think nothing of it. dw its an important position. plus your av is hot.
|
| |
Dude, noooo. His vocals sound insane on this; at least twice as good as on colors.
And I personally thought he sounded great on colors
his voice gets really hard to listen to. I don't know if i'd necessarily consider it bad, but it's a headache to listen to Colors because of his tiring vocals... and it's a shame because the guitars/drums are friggin amazing.
|
| |
i like btbam but their vocalist is terrible.
the song is alright. might end up liking it more with successive listens, as per usual with these guys
|
| |
I put janedoe@converge.co.uk
|
| |
okay actually the second part is so nice
aaron no one really cares man
|
| |
Ehh, I guess it's all a matter of preference. I personally love the type of scream that tommy does.
So does this song basically cement btbam as the new dream theater, but 10,000 times better?
|
| |
Sounds like an hybrid of Alaska.
|
| |
I listened to the new BTBAM and JIZZED IN MY PANTS!
|
| |
This is awesome and is that the album artwork? If it is, me like!
|
| |
loving the song!
|
| |
i was pretty bored through this sadly
|
| |
I wanted to cry about how bad Tommy's vocals are but I checked my pants, and I don't have a vagina...
|
| |
see a doctor dude, that sounds srs
|
| |
okay actually the second part is so nice
aaron no one really cares man
/cuts
|
| |
The bass in this song is so awesome.
|
| |
aw he cut yew.
shits so cash bro.
|
| |
OOOOOO
|
| |
Sounds like everything else they've done for the past few years. Average vocals, average heavy parts. The middle part was pretty cool and I thought the ending part was nice, but it's just BTBAM as they have been.
|
| |
sweeps, bad vocals, and randomly placed keyboards doesn't make a good song
|
| |
is great
|
| |
What happened to Tommy's vocals since Alaska? They were insane on that album. Yeah he had the normal boring scream he does now, but he mixed it up with pig squeals (Croakies) and black-metal growls (The Primer) and just overall sounded better. I just don't feel the emotion in his scream anymore.
|
| |
Hey OneTimed, Tommy never did pig squeals.
So go die, please.
|
| |
He did, actually. Well, he tried.
|
| |
I don't think the vocals are terrible...I think everyone overreacts to how bad they think they are...prolly because the rest of the band is so talented....
|
| |
His vocals really aren't bad guys.
|
| |
No, he definitely didn't.
|
| |
nah his vocals are actually shithouse but i still like the band.
|
| |
Okay. Listen to 'Croakies and Boatshoes' again and enlighten me.
|
| |
TNY seems pretty dumb
|
| |
if tommy was in any other band and not btbam, i would never listen to it. i'm not a fan of the vocals whether clean or dirty.
|
| |
Definitely some bree-ing going on in Croakies...
|
| |
Honestly, I think this is pretty lame.
Maybe it's because I listened to the new Despised Icon before I listened to this, thus I'm not feeling "smart" enough to like BTBAM right now.
|
| |
i love how i can still listen to this after entering "fuckofftonybrummel@youcunt.com" as the email address.
pretty awesome so far, although that's half down to chance, as i usually have to be in the right mood for BTBAM - apparently i am atm!
|
| |
ahahahahahahahahaha dude thats the hardest i've laughed all night thank you
|
| |
gets better at the halfway point. I like how well the bass is mastered and it reminds me of tool(the drumming and bass playing).
Haven't been paying attention to the vocals much
|
| |
ehh the ending felt anti-climatic
|
| |
very cool. Repetition of the central melody in this song can be boring to some, but they do branch off alot of cool riffs from it. Also paul's solo is pretty cool midway thru the song, shows that they have been looking into a wide range of new influences. Yea, the solo at the end seems to be an average scale rip and arpeggio run, but i like it. I just wish there was more of those really really really techy parts where you cant determine whats going on. I like to endulge myself in them. Seems to me touring with dream theater and opeth have definitly influenced them to be a more progressive band more than ever.
|
| |
that part in the middle seems very Volta influenced and the wahs later on in the song
|
| |
still wondering if the CD is gonna play as one long song like colors, if so then it changes the way this song is. the song stands well on its own but if it is part of a bigger song then u cant judge it till you can listen to the whole cd
|
| |
nothing beats their explosion to the spotlight in 2003. that just about changed everything. this is just a typical progression.
|
| |
btw "Mirrors" is also floating around too. As for Obfuscation, this song is tightt!!
|
| |
tommy's vocals aren't bad, it's just that paul's guitar playing is so good. haha
|
| |
btw "Mirrors" is also floating around too.
Validity required.
|
| |
I have the link for both this and mirrors I think but I dont know if I should post it
|
| |
You shouldn't, would get you potentially banned. last.fm?
|
| |
Mirrors is probably the most acoustic-like song that BTBAM has ever done. I believe tommy does only clean vocals on the track. These songs are makin me more pumped for this album. I NEEEDS NOWWW!
|
| |
god i want this.
|
| |
Alright, they are probably easy to get though, I found them and wasn't even trying.
|
| |
Whoa, just heard Mirrors on youtube... seriously such a beautiful song.
|
| |
Yeah, I just heard Mirrors. The last part felt Porcupine Tree-y.
|
| |
wow. the second half of this song is probably better than anything they have ever done imo.
|
| |
they're not really helping to fight off that incoherent songwriting argument with this.
|
| |
Solid, solid song.
Oh, here's the same thing on youtube. You mighttt want to take a look.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIosvl-pkJg
|
| |
Man those Metal riffs are just so pointless most of the time, completely random. Fortunately they can craft amazing melodies when they try.
|
| |
great song.can't wait for the album.
|
| |
arite all the george michaels fans with sand in their vaginas need to stop complaining this song fucking rocks
|
| |
Mirrors is beautiful.
|
| |
i actually enjoy the randomness of the "heavy" parts, it shows they haven't totally ditched their Silent Circus days. But they have definitely gotten worse in making the metal-er parts memorable
|
| |
