this band gets stuck in the emo genre categorization, but in reality they are much better then any band coming out of that scene. And they kinda just kick ass in general. For a non metal band, they are still good.

basically, MCR are fucking great. they make good, consistent albums that anyone can listen too. I'm not comparing them to any other "emo" band in particular, but its not even a question they are unfairly put inside that catagory, and honestly, in comparison they do rise above the competition.
