New Silverstein and Haste the Day all in one day? Highschool me is so giddy.

| |
oh good a double album exactly what this band multiple albums into their creative decline needed right now
also this album title gives major dollar store silent planet energy lmao
|
| |
what bubs said lol
i will happily listen to whatever they do but a double album is crazy.
|
| |
I liked skin and bones way more than this. It sounded revitalized. This isn’t bad I just hope it’s an outlier. I dig the artistic direction.

"dollar store silent planet" lmao
|
| |
Skin & bones had a sweet bridge
|
| |
No core / core- adjacent band needs a double album ever
|
| |
a switch just flipped in my brain and i now really really want erra to make a double album
|
| |
Sadly, this song is mid as fuck.
|
| |
"a switch just flipped in my brain and i now really really want erra to make a double album"
lol
|
| |
The only Post-Hardcore band that needs a double album is Secret And Whisper.
|
| |
Ban double albums
|
| |
"New Silverstein and Haste the Day all in one day?"
new HTD is awesome! This is kinda average
|
| |
They doubled down on being shit the last few albums
|
| |
Song is meh album art is good
|

Although it’s a double album, I think I read 8 tracks on each
|
| |
"They doubled down on being shit the last few albums"
I laughted way too hard on this.
|
| |
NO SCREAMING??? RAWRRRR!!!!!! Song is mid. Hope the rest isn't this basic....
|
| |
Cautiously optimistic for these records. The singles are promising and the artwork is amazing and anyone who spent an album cycle writing and recording in Joshua tree has to be inspired in a big way. Skin and bones is so good.
|
| |
Also I want to talk shit on confessions cause it’s kinda basic but the afterglow is one of their best tracks so idk, context is everything.
|
| |
Why?
|
| |
Because this is what bands do- they record and release music.
|
| |
"No core / core- adjacent band needs a double album ever"
100% - Thursday planned a double album at one point but decided against it because "Not even The Beatles could fill two albums with enough worthy material".
|
| |
thursday coulda done it tbh. the white album is by no means the bar re: double albums lol
|
| |
I like Thursday but they couldn't even fill one album without some shitters.
|
| |
no devolucion and common existence are right there
|
| |
I think both of those albums suck.
|
| |
"I think both of those albums suck."
Yeah...and what about Senses Fail post Renacer? Now THAT is bad.
|
| |
I haven't followed these guys since I Am Alive in Everything I Touch. This is a pretty darn good track though so Silverstein is officially back on my radar.
|
| |
no devolucion is like maybe the best album from this scene outright lmao
|
| |
"Yeah...and what about Senses Fail post Renacer? Now THAT is bad."
I like Pull the Thorns, but their last two albums were horrible.
|
| |
Jets to Peru was good. So was Double Cross and Elevator to the Gallows. Gold Jacket Green Jacket was sick.
|
| |
The cadence in the second part of the chorus sounds like a part of the chorus in Attention by Charlie Puth, and I can't unhear it.
|
| |
More Silverstein to love!
