Going to see them next week, this is a pretty solid track (like middle of the album or later placement) ad makes me look forward to it even more.

I love it. I get a lot of vibes from "Pretty Hate Machine" era Nine Inch Nails and "Forever Young" era Alphaville.

I'm really surprised at how many people think these new songs will be better in the context of the album. I mean, i'm sure listening to it from front to back will give a more complete listening experience, but i've always felt AFI's stuff works really well on its own. It's not like BTBAM's Colors were a song works on its own but each track continues seamlessly into the next

AFI albums work best as a whole. I have been enjoying everything released thus far.

Well yeah, but people on this site seem to treat AFI albums like Dark Side of the Moon or, like I
said earlier, Colors, where it's more or less one long song divided up into tracks haha. I like
when albums are arranged with a clear beginning, middle, and end in mind though, which AFI do.
Anyways, the album is shaping up to be really good. Crash Love seemed like a step back after
Decemberunderground, which I wasn't a fan of. Say what you will about DU, I liked how they
experimented with it. Burials seems like it's picking up where DU left off, but will be a bit more
enjoyable.

I like everything by them so far, still haven't checked out a few of the earliest eps and lps though.
I just hope they've got some sweet merch or an early album type deal for the show.
