New David Bowie Album

2013-01-08 by dylantheairplane | 77 Comments
David Bowie, a musical legend who has been mainly out of the public eye since his last album and tour in 2003, has spontaneously come out of the woodwork again with a surprise new album to be released in March.

The well-kept secret of an album entitled, The Next Day, is mostly a mystery right now, but the track listing and iTunes preorder, which comes with a download of the first single entitled 'Where Are We Now?', can be found on the revamped David Bowie website as well as a seemingly low budget video for the new single.

Good to see Bowie's still making music. It's an okay song but that's why we have Low and Lodger isn't it?

Holy shit, you are very smart and enlightened. Thanks you for informing me that it's a parody. You sure told me. There was absolutely no way I meant that the song title "Dancing Out In Space" off of this upcoming album made me think of the parody song "Bowie's In Space" by Flight of the Conchords you piece of shit. You should do all of my thinking for me.

I'm surprised not more people liked Reality, actually. This was very good regardless, though, can't wait for the new album. It sounds like it might be heading in a more Hours / Heathen hybrid direction, this time around.

Gotta love neo-classical Bowie.
