Chevelle Working On New Album

2006-02-03 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 7 Comments
American rock band Chevelle posted a message on their official website, ChevelleInc.com, announcing their return to the studio to write and record material for their fourth album.

A spokesman for the band also confirmed the addition to the band of bassist Dean Bernardini, brother-in-law of the dismissed bassist Joe Loeffler. Chevelle hit the road in March, supporting Nickelback in the US.

So Pete is the only blood member left? Anyone know why Joe was dismissed?

You're forgeting the drummer, Sam.

Joe left because he didn't enjoy touring, and his other two brothers gave him an ultimatum because he was bringing them down too. He chose to leave. This Message Edited On 02.03.06

Ahhh, i thought sam left to be an actor and Joe was a new change. Thanks for the correction.

I hope the new bassist brings a little more to the table than Joe did.

let's face it'it's not like he was an outstanding bass player...

but it is going to be interesting to see if the music is the same with the previous brotherly chemistry...
