w00t first news article, thanks for the clean up too, admittedly it looks much better :')

| |
I will get this.
| |
I'm pretty stoked for this, especially since Shangri-La-Dee-Da wasn't all that great but their reunion tour was kickass so yeah
| |
Let's hope this is good. I saw them live in '08 and Weiland basically ruined the show with his stupid junkie antics, showing up over an hour late and rambling throughout most of the set. Dude didn't even know where he was 1/2 the time
| |
I saw them in '08 as well, and it was one of the best concerts I have been to.
| |
I dont have very high hopes for this but I'm still excited since its STP. I still jam out to Core and Purple on a regular basis.
| |
I'm excited as well.

That's the thing, the band was fantastic, Weiland was shit
| |
I thought he did good, maybe he was rolling when you saw him.
| |
Im hoping for Core/Purple part 2. Or something like that.
| |
^ Been waiting for that since 1995 like me? xD
| |
Yeah. Tiny music is alright, 4 is average at best, and you know the rest.
| |
blech. Always hated STP.
| |
I love their older stuff, but this will blow.
| |
stone pimple toilets
| |
"Beatles-esque" = he tried to learn piano for a song
| |
I'll just wait and see if they'll deliver the goods.
| |
Lets hope that ridiculous lyrics like "Feeling like a hand in rusted shame so do you laugh or does it cry" make it on here. Seriously, great song, terrible lyrics.
| |
"Beatle-esque" moments haha. who doesn't have those nowadays?
| |
"Feeling like a hand in rusted shame so do you laugh or does it cry"
reads like an erasedcitizen review
| |
God damn I cant wait!
| |
I had read in an interview that Weiland said this would sound more like a companion to Core and Purple. That would be good
| |
STP lyrics are cool fools
| |
Seeing these guys with AiC. Mega pumped. Opening bands are horrific but oh well I can skip them. Hope the album's good too.
| |
saw these guys last year. definitely will get this album
| |
Oh yeah this will be great all right
| |

Of course he's saying that. It's want everyone wants to hear. More proof, less talk, I say. Stream a song from that new album.
| |
They fucking ruled when I saw them back in November.
| |
I saw them in november too. They came to Regina and it was a great concert. Weiland didn't seem to bad and he sang great. It was one of the better concerts i've been too. Let's hope this album lives up to the reviews hype.
| |
Not expecting much out of this, hope I'm surprised
| |
STP = Monkees of the 90's.
| |
Yeah when I saw them he was so fucked up, he was wearing just blabbling in between songs and sometimes screwed up the words.
| |
saw these guys last summer because my friend had an extra ticket. they were ok. not a huge fan of their music though
| |
STP = Monkees of the 90's.
Uh.......
| |
STP were quality from Core to Tiny Music and probably had the best singles of any alt-rock band of the 90's. Not the most original band, but fucking really, none of their contemporaries were either tbqfh
| |
Who sounds like STP? but seriously, after tiny music=shit
| |
STP's first album Core is pretty influenced from the Grunge scene.
| |
core is grunge...what?
| |
STP = Monkees of the 90's.
Yeah, except Not
| |
lol Greenman you're so wise
| |
