Dream Theater CD/DVD 2006-06-27 by Stormy Smiley Face | 16 Comments | Dream Theater has announced that their new live CD/DVD, "Score", will be released on August 29th 2006. Mike Portnoy told all.
The CD and DVD's will be sold seperately with 3 CDs and 2 DVDs.
The DVD/CD is the finale of the "20th Anniversary World Tour" at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on April 1st 2006. (almost 3 hours of music - over 90 minutes of which was performed with a full orchestra)
The DVD also contains a 1 hour Documentary tracking the entire career of the band from the very beginnings at the Berklee College Of Music in 1985 all the way to the Radio City Music Hall grand finale. Rare never before seen footage and interviews with current and previous members of the band is included.
Live bonus tracks from throughout the years will be taken from the Portnoy Archives and useds as extras.

I was told there was so much more to this DVD, a longer track list. The sets seem rather thin IMO.

Another thing - the band went over the RCMH union's 11:00 curfew by 3 minutes and were fined $30,000, so there's no way this is a "thin" set.
