"anyone who rates over a 3 is insane"

I don't know....i'm really enjoying this so far. I'm on my 2nd listen and i think i'd rate this a 3,5/4.

George new vocals are really growing on me. And "The Northern" is one of the best Alexis song to date IMO.

Worse than Crisis?

Nigh unfathomable, but yes.

This is most certainly not worse than Crisis. Give it some time and more than one listen before you judge it.

I was hoping for more of a Watch Out! feel, but my first impression is that the cd's still pretty decent.

Disappointing record, it's pretty much one giant snooze. I was really looking forward to this album too.

It's about a 3.5. It does get same-y but it's their most accessible, and let's face it; they're not post-whatever you call it anymore. They're a straight up rock band, and once you accept it, it makes the album much more enjoyable.

"was hoping for a more watch-out feel" Are you kidding me? This band used to be one of the most talented out there IMO but then the more commercial they got the more the musicianship went way downhill. I'm going to give this a listen once I get a hard copy so no judgment until then I just hope it's not nearly as lame as the last 2 offerings.

I already liked Young Cardinals and No Rest when they first were released. I like there old style better, but I can still easily accept this one.

It's better than Crisis in production, the bass especially is mixed really well. Not sure if it has the variety I look for though.

Personally I think this album is amazing. Though it's not as in your face as their previous CD's I believe it still contains everything that makes Alexisonfire who they are.

It feels overall like more of a Punk Rock album then post Hardcore but atleast they are a band who can change up their sound a bit without sacrificing what got them where they are.

This CD from start to finish sounds more like an album then previous times. Not to say that previous CD's did not flow, but this is a more rounded album from song to song.

For me it seems as though they just wanted to make an album full of songs that are fun to play and in my opinion are fun to listen to.

5/5 for me
