Back in like, 93', Noel Gallagher was churning out some real great songs, I mean even he admits he's not as good as he was back then. Liam Gallagher needs to stop with all that I'm so hard and so British shit.

Rotation of hate.
|
| |
My god, what did we ever do to become so lucky.
|
| |
Good riddance.
|
| |
Ah good, this will give them some time to work on something good. Maybe a Fuckin in the bushes 2. yeah.
|
| |
YAY
|
| |
im glad. oasis is horrible
|
| |
He's like a man with a fork in a world of soup.
Best thing he's ever come up with tbh
|
| |
I thought we normally discuss relevant bands on Sputnik...
|
| |
Oasis were relevant...about 14 years ago
|
| |
These guys always make me laugh... No, seriously... In a good way. Could you imagine if the 2 brothers hosted a late night talk-show. Now, that would be pure comedy gold!
|
| |
Today is gonna be the day...
|
| |
please, please, PLEASE let this be one of those technically-a-hiatus-but-really-they've-broken-up-and-don't-want-to-admit-it things.
that way we don't have to deal with the absolute aural slurry they call music, AND it'll piss off all those annoying fucking drunk Oasis fans that insist on putting Champage fucking Super fucking Nova on the jukebox in EVERY FUCKING PUB EVER and sing along to it like the bunch of BASTARD BRITROCK-WANNABE TWATS THEY FUCKING ARE.
/end rant.
|
| |
Shave the uni-brows you ugly bastards!
|
| |
Its the mono-brow revolution ending
|
| |
Man I'm glad I get along with my brothers now. I'm also glad I'm not in a shitty band that's so blatant in ripping off the Beatles. However, it would be nice to have his money...and his bomb ass wife.
|
| |
awesome
|
| |
Yeah aren't these guys supposed to be as popular as the Rolling Stones or something
|
| |
I think someone somewhere said that Oasis was better than sex in heaven ..
owait that was noel
|
| |
Ouch. There's a lot of hate in this thread. I don't really care, I'm indifferent to Oasis. Don't talk about Wonderwall though.
|
| |
ahaha. this is a LOT of hate...
we've got a lot of overty-douchy people here....
world of followers...
ah well, w.e, im indifferent. too young for them to be on my rader
|
| |
What a great omen for the next five years. Let's hope it lasts.
|
| |
The next five years will be the greatest of our lives.
|
| |
there seems to be plenty of stuff worst than oasis in the charts these days...
besides, they've got some solid tracks to back them.
am I really the only one to think so?
|
| |
Every song they'd record I'd already have heard anyway, so it wouldn't matter
|
| |
So your insulting Oasis because you think they are bland and unoriginal? Yet all your jabs at them have been...bland and unoriginal...the "ripping off the beatles" card has been played more than The Beatles themselves.
And we all know half the people who say Oasis haven't been relevant for years haven't heard any of the albums since Morning Glory...but they read it in a magazine and by repeating it they can sound like they know what there talking about.
Dig Out Your Soul & Don't Believe The Truth were both great albums. They both had catchy well written pop songs. Which...is exactly what was on Morning Glory & Definitely Maybe. But everyone loves to jerk off to those albums and ignore the rest.
The only albums I'd say that actually had a fair amount of crap on it were Standing on Shoulders and Heathen Chemistry. But both of those albums had stand-out songs.
I think all the hate has a lot to do with their interviews and public persona...which I personally find hilarious. Maybe they believe in Lennon's quote...
"When I was a Beatle I thought we were the best fucking group in the goddamn world, and believing that is what made us what we were." - John Lennon
|
| |
Then he was shot.
jk, good point
|
| |
Oasis used to be my favorite band back in the 90's. Lately like in the past 5 years or so, I haven't really been interested in them.
|
| |
can you make it 10?
|
| |
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooel
|
| |
Lol I have to::
"[Oasis] is gone. They're gone. I miss them so much. Ooooh I cry myself to sleep, [Oasis]!
False. I do not miss them."
|
| |
i more glad then anything but iv just ignored this band for the past 8 years or so. i dont think anyone is really to worried that "oasis" isnt gonna do anything for 5 years. i just cheered
|
| |
I am actually a really big Oasis fan and I think many people are really harsh on them including the media. But even I will admit that they are both complete wankers as are many of thier fans. Oh and Liams the frontman not Noel.
