Metal Blade signs Molotov Solution

"Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the signing of Las Vegas’ Molotov Solution. Their Metal Blade debut album is currently being mixed and tracking was done by Kelly Cairns and mixing by the duo of Tim Lambesis and Daniel Castleman at Lambesis Studios (Sworn Enemy, Impending Doom, War Of Ages) in San Diego, CA. Mastering was left in the more than capable hands of Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The album promises to be one of the most extreme and thought provoking releases of the year.

Metal Blade president Mike Faley comments: “Molotov Solution is a musical assault on your senses, bombastic music with social and politically charged lyrics. That is as incendiary as it gets.”

Molotov Solution embodies the DIY attitude and strong work ethic shared by their peers on Metal Blade as well as the ability to compose music that causes pits to erupt in every city they play. More tours and shows are on deck as the band prepares for the release of the album.

“We are extremely proud to be added to the legendary Metal Blade family! Being signed to a major metal label has always been one of the hopes and dreams of this band, and signing to one as accomplished and dedicated as Metal Blade is very exciting. We would like to thank Metal Blade and our management, The Artery Foundation, for being so patient this last year and making this dream a reality.

As for the new album, you can expect a huge improvement from the last one. The band has progressed to new levels of writing and the songs will be heavier than they've ever been and more aggressive as a whole. This is the proudest and most excited I have ever felt about a release. Huge thanks goes out to Tim Lambesis, Daniel Castleman, and Kelly "The Carnage" Cairns at Lambesis Studios for being so amazing to work with and putting great effort towards making our new album an amazing release.” - Robbie Pina, Molotov Solution

The album is tentatively slated for the summer of 2009. Keep an eye on their myspace page and metalblade.com for updates, including the album title, track listing, and artwork."

"bombastic music with social and politically charged lyrics"

Oh goody, we need more of this nowadays! No shortage of that, no siree!

You know I doubt we'd need any if society was actually politically charged in the first place.

Sorry for the confusion on what band it is, I obviously couldn't fit the whole title with band name and all on there. I just figured if you read through it you'd know who it was talking about, plus it has the "related reviews" to the right so...

ALAN DOUCHES

News title is bad because it doesn't say the band's name so leaves people guessing what MS stands for.

Oh and WHO?
