yeah we have a subscription to EW so i pass over some of king's shit and i have to laugh every time he talks about the "betrayl" he felt when AC/DC made their deal with Wal-Mart

i mean seriously? is he that disillusioned?

On another note, if you guys haven't read his The Dark Tower series, you need to immediately. It's immensely badas. Also, the list is confusing and hateful. Why is he a music critic?

Buckcherry is one of the worst bands ever.

And I find it creepy that King listens to them...

Well, this is scary, so...^

This is somewhat expected, but still, somewhere deep down I was hoping to see a list for of melodic death and black metal....and a ridiculous hip-hop album....maybe Akon, just to throw us all offThis Message Edited On 12.10.08

I think he is trying to scare everyone.......It makes sense because he is famous for writing horror stories. So it suits him, I suppose.

But yeah. Since when is he a music critic??

he always writes articles for EW, and because of his celebrity status, apparently people like to get an idea what his opinions are in regards to music. and to be honest, i'm cool with it
haven't heard anything off this list, but i'm glad to hear he listens to something other than the screams of all the fictional characters he's killed

Are people seriously complaining that a 61 year old man doesn't like the same music they do?

While I can declare this list as horrendous, that's what it looks like to me. AC/DC at #2, get real!

This list proves that he should stick to writing horror novels.

^^^^i stopped reading stpehen king about 12 years ago aside from this series. but this guy's right. the dark tower is arguably the best series of novels i have ever read. it blew my mind. other than this.

and yeah, you really can't blame the guy for this list, he's like 60 years old. altho even that is no excuse for liking buckcherry.
