Unearth Post New Song

2008-09-30 by Tyler EMERITUS | 25 Comments
Metalcore band Unearth have uploaded another new song to their MySpace. The band has released a statement that makes a news writers' job very, very easy:

"We just added the song 'We Are Not Anonymous' from our forthcoming album, The March, to our player. Come on over, check it out and let us know what you think. We'll also be adding a 3rd track from our new album a little later this week along with some other announcements.

Don't forget, The March comes out on October 14th via Metal Blade Records and we'll be on tour all month."

the production on these news songs leaves a lot to be desired.

Vocals are pretty not good. He sounds kind of like a crow. Hopefully that's just the laptop speakers (I usually don't listen to music on these).

I enjoy the introduction to the song alot. The melody kicks ass but yeah, what the fuck happened to Trevor's vocals?

his vocals are a bit different but doesnt effect the songs too much imo. killer songs, just hoping the whole album wont be too predictable

You hope an Unearth album won't be too predictable? Really?

The intrumentals are great. Still not overly impressed by Trevor's new vocals.

Still got high expectations for the album though.

Vocals aren't as good as they were on the past album, but the guitar work has gotten even better. Another great song!

Predictable but still a reasonably enjoyable song minus the vocals. They don't completely ruin the song but they are definitely sounding tired.

in what way? maybe the overuse of the chugging (huge surprise). I am just curious, not interrogating.

Thanks for reminding me, that was a very old rating back when the album was out. Ive reduced it. Metalcore is failsauce TBQH.

The vocals are good but i don't get the chorus. The "gang" vocals are not heard very well.

Metalcore is failsauce

Thrash is failsauce. Yeah, that's right.

Song is solid, but I think maybe they're trying to be TOO melodic and smooth and I'm sensing a lack of brutality that is paining me...

Thrash is failsauce. Yeah, that's right.

How can thrash be failsauce when metalcore would probably not exist as it does today without it?
