That Hendrix movie was cancelled, or at least put on hold, because I don't think they could afford to pay for the rights to use the songs in the movie... which is kind of shit because Andre would've been bad ass in that.
I've always dug him way more than Big Boi anyway, I feel like an Andre 3000 (purely) solo record would blow a Big Boi release out of the water any day.

Honestly I like Speakerboxxx more than the Love Below. That probably just solidifies my standing as a bad person, huh? But I'm with Tuesday ^ I would love to hear an Andre solo album.

I agree with P13 and JoshuaHomme, Andre and Big Boi should part ways.
Man, I really knew I was correct in thinking Big Boi wasn't as cool as his fame would have you think when I saw him on an episode of "Girlfriends"... man, money grabbing death in my books.
Speakerboxxx was one dimensional. Love Below was (somewhat irritatingly) cool.

Yeah, Damian, I think you're right. The final product of Speakerboxxx was more enjoyable to listen to, but Andre obviously has a lot more potential. Speakerboxxx was more consistent while The Love Below's hilights were a lot more exciting, like "My Favorite Things."
Maybe in the future Andre will be able to figure out how to write a whole album's worth of good songs, and he won't have to try so hard to be quirky or unique, you know, just let his music be cool. Or maybe he'll just continue to start in sort-of-decent movies.
