Don't worry about them Katun, these people don't know what real music is and it seems you do know what real music is. Don't listen to these people who like bands like shitty protest the hero, dont got no feeling in their music at all where as Avenged Sevenfold do. Avenged Sevenfold are true Virtuosos, unlike most of the bands you praise here like lowpeth and cream theater (because all they do is jizz all over their instruments.) So keep it strong katun we are the only ones keepin it real around here.

Dream Theater can suck my balls, the only good parts of their songs is when John graces it with a guitar solo.. Avenged Sevenfold isnt a bad band, there new album is probably one of their weaker ones but it's still a solid release. They've got a sweet drummer, good guitarists, and a good bass player (Wicked End).

I really don't see why Avenged gets hated on so much. All i ever hear to justify the hatred for them is "they suck" or they're "unmetal."
Anyways i'm not really looking forward to the live dvd. I'm just interested in the b-sides. Even though their self-titled album wasn't amazing by any means it'll be interesting just to hear the other kinds of weird stuff they experimented with that didn't make the final cut.

I'm a big A7X fan, but I can see why people don't like them. Synyster Gates is a damn good guitarist, the Rev is amazing, and Johnny Christ is getting up there as a bassist.
I honestly don't think you can compare PTH with them. Way too different if you ask me. (I've been listening to PTH since Kezia, and I absolutely adore Fortress).
Sure the s/t wasn't their strongest release, but it had some good songs (namely, Afterlife, Unbound, and I liked Gunslinger). But it's nothing compared to City of Evil.
