New Sigur Ros Album Details 2008-05-27 by FlawedPerfection EMERITUS | 25 Comments | Sigur Ros has released the latest information on their latest album, leaving their fans little time to catch a breath, as the album will be released in less than a month during the week of June 23rd. A stream will go up on Sigur Ros' webpage on June 9th. The opening song to the album, "Gobbledigook", is available for free download on sigurros.com. The album will be titled Með suð * eyrum við spilum endalaust (translation: With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly). Vocalist Jónsi will sing in English for one song and the rest will be sung in Icelandic.

The album is the first where the band recorded outside of their native Iceland, although some of the recording was done there. They also recorded in New York City at Sear Sound Studios, in London at both Assault and Battery Studios and Abbey Road, and in Havana, Cuba. They have scheduled their June tour dates, touring shortly through Mexico, the United States, and other various festivals:
