no way. IMO david cook is a lot more diverse than daughtry. plus, his arrangements are great.

David Cook owns Daughtry. His vocal ability is much better than Chris. I just hope Cook will be able to put out an amazing album with the American Idol record company and they don't screw him.

archuletta was quite an annoying character. If he didn't act like a 11 year old girl all the time he would be tolerable, but he sounds like he has trouble breathing... all the time.

yeah i didn't know any of that about his parents. but beyond that he wasn't NEARLY as marketable as david cook so it wasnt a shock that cook won

Still, that's pretty damn impressive. If he doesn't release a crappy album (50/50 chance he might), he will have a successful career, and even if he does release crap, he'll last at least 2 albums.

I actually didn't find Archuleta offensive in any way. Like Simon Cowell, I really didn't care who won considering that they're both quite talented.
