Oh, Sleeper Robbed 2008-04-02 by ToWhatEnd | 12 Comments | Oh, Sleeper was robbed in Cleveland, Ohio a mere two days after jumping on their select dates of the Artery tour with A Skylit Drive, Four Letter Lie, Before Their Eyes, Memphis May Fire and The Hottness. Their van was broken into on the drivers side and most of their personal belonging including laptops, cell phones, phone chargers, ipods, ipod transmitter, books, money, cameras, backpacks, cash box, all of the bands money, briefcases, jackets, and their GPS were gone.
Now of course the big question as to where they were when they got jacked still remains unanswered. Outside a venue, a hotel? Sadly not. These events occurred in a movie theater parking lot where the group had stopped to see 21. The group still plans on finishing up their tour dates and have put up a donation button as suggested by the fans which will be up until the end of the week.

This seems to happen to a lot of Christian bands. Also I believe Oh, Sleeper is on Solid State, and Tooth and Nail is a label famous for not really taking care of their bands unless they sell a lot of records. Most labels are probably like that but w/e

They are on Solid State... they are pretty meh though. Still sucks that it happened to them. It seems like it could of happened to anyone.

seems like theres a story like this every week. bands need to lock their doors and stow their s***. That is too bad though.

Apparently bands need to travel in armored, disguised vans to avoid their stuff being stolen, and then it's still a stretch.

Thats rough, especially for a brand new band. Sounds like a lot of stuff got jacked, I guess at least their instruments and whatnot didn't.
