Awesome track. Judging by that track alone, this album should give They Will Return a fight for their best record.

Fantastic song. Love the change back to the higher-pitched vocals.

Children of Bodom sounds like its going to be poor and In Flames sounds like its going to be meh. Now this, this is promising!

Children of Bodom album is pretty good, fuck you guys.

In Flames is okay from what i've heard.

But yeah, this will destroy those two albums.

Well I havent heard the new Children of Bodom, only the couple of prereleased tracks, which I thought were mediocre. Anyways, its inevitable to compare these two bands this year. Nobody will ever produce another Hatebreeder, however.

The new CoB album leaked onto youtube, I think it's still there.

And this is making me listen to They Will Return again. I forgot how awesome it was,
will be hard to beat. This Message Edited On 03.22.08

That song is great, can't wait for the new album.
Blooddrunk is meh, but when you put it up against older albums it gets shoved down to terrible.

That was actually not bad. These guys sound like what CoB should have evolved into. I shall look into their back catalogue to check them out further.

cool song. On the CoB vs Kalmah debate - For me, they are musically on a par, but I think CoB lose ground on their vocals and lyrics (which are kind of juvenile), so these days I tend to prefer Kalmah - but having said, I think CoB's back catalogue has some superior material.

Imo, CoB is to Kalmah what In Flames is to Dark Tranquillity. I prefer both CoB and Inflames overall because of their classic early material. However, they both ended up descending into the mainstream with more mediocre releases in the present. However, Kalmah and Dark Tranquillity have remained incredibly solid throughout their whole discography, and overall seem much more mature in their song-writing and overall sound.

If you don't have earlier work, then that's what you need first.

I have They Will Return and Swampsong and I really like em

Song was ****in' epic. Looking forward to this. Good to see Pekka's return to the high pitched black metal vocals. Hopefully, he blends them with The Black Waltz-esque vocals on other songs.

^ There were death vocals on this new song.

I thought the song was pretty damn good. It had some cool keyboard and the guitar riffs and solos were pretty good. I'd say they have gotten a little bit better because this song was more than just catchy which is how their old material mostly is.

^ Their old material is barely catchy, bar a few riffs. This Message Edited On 08.11.08
