Well, I didn't love AI, but I look foward to the movie and whatever else these guys are planning on.

Hopefully they won't let us down like AI (eventually) did. This movie actually could kill them before this album comes out to try and make up for the last, since it's not only going to blow but is simply trying to squeeze every last drop of commercial gain out of AI.

It sounds like there taking there time and trying to put out somthing that shows the best of their ability which is good

Unless their new material sounds like the good old days with Insomniac then I probably won't be interested.

I think if they got Michel Gondry it might actually work, though I doubt he stoop that low.

i really hope they lose the make up and go back to how they used to be and make a cd like insomniac with a little bit of dookie and a strange song like misery. the movie will probably be a dissapointment just like AI was.

I hope that they will be able to go back to their old style at least some, but with the experience they now have, be able to turn it into something a lot bigger. American Idiot was great for the first few months, but the songs got overplayed so much, I cant stand it anymore.

I agree, I think people can't stand it because of it's overplaying. I loved it when it first came out, but soon, with all the hype, I was like mehh. They became a bandwagon. When American Idiot was the only single, life was good.

The message was over-rated and tired, and the music wasn't very original.

Expect the movie to have Bush's profile bathed in fire, as per the stereotypical Bush-hating deal.

If AI wasn't so popular it would have been better

The thing about the AI movie is it'll definitely suck if Sam Bayer directs it. It'll be one long music video. Rock movies like The Wall weren't big music videos. They had some stuff in them that made them watchable. Music videos are only somewhat interesting for that short period of time.

I agree with altrockdude. the hype ruined it. people went from thinking "oh, this is an average album" to "this Sucks!"

if sma bayer directed teen spirit i would be kind of surprised. id be really fuckin surprised that he directed one my favorite videos and also all the AI videos that i hate (all of them).
