Eye of Mensis Release Promo EP 2026-08-16 by Brandon Bzduch | 2 Comments | Experimental metal project Eye of Mensis has released a new EP titled ‘I Saw a Photograph’ which features two tracks from the upcoming full-length ‘I want not.’ as well as a cover of ‘New Mind’ by experimental rock band SWANS.
“I’ve always found it a bit disturbing to remember being exposed to so much real world violence as a kid, through shock videos and random photos on the internet. I can recall very clearly being shown gore and the most disturbing things imaginable by other classmates who thought it was exciting and funny. I Saw a Photograph recalls how that felt, and explores the possible effects on those who seemed so desensitized to it”
‘I want not.’ is releasing later this year.
