Wow actually something different from them for once
| |
whoa this actually beats fucking ass. thick ass sludge riffs. randy sounds as good as ever, really dig the talky vocals. that ending breakdown is sick as hell. true throwback. did not expect this!
| |
This isn’t for me but it’s loads more interesting than the last two LPS
| |
I do prefer my originally submitted title of 'Lamb of God Get Sepsis' tho
| |
thicc riffs on this one
| |
Not my vibe but I appreciate that it's something a bit different. Production seems a bit ass though.
| |
This might be my favorite single of theirs since Laid to Rest. I'm looking forward to checking out the new album when that drops.
| |
I loved the production. It actually has grit after god knows how long of shiny clean productions. Reminded me of Wrath a little bit. Like I had said in the Omens thread, I really dig the first half and it is such a refreshing take on the band's formula. I really hope they change it up more for the new album. They have been really stale since VII.
| |
interesting for them
| |
don't like it.
last album wasn't good either.
Sturm Und Drang was unreal tho.
| |
^ that's quite the take.
Every album has a good one or two tracks that give me hope that it's not just the Mark Morton rock-riff show all over again, but I know better than get excited at this point. This is probably one of those.
| |
That is exactly my suspicion. Pull people in with a single that sounds like a new direction for the band only for it to be an outlier in a 12 track album of generally homogenous groove metal.
| |
Trash song but I can respect that they finally took a risk and did something beside formulaic groove core.
| |
Band rules agreed.
| |
nah this sucks, second half at least has riffs but first half is just big washy walls of blunt guitars and wet fish slapped against vinyl floor drums
| |
the bass sound is sick as fuck.
BUT, this band keep using breakdown to get banger from the crowd.
this band isn't continuing their NWOAHM legacy.
i missed this band signature fast-driving riffs and drums.
| |
kind of cool but I could just listen to Filth by Swans
| |
Damn I wrote these guys off as washed but I'm really enjoying this song. Randy sounds a lil deranged in the verses
| |
Not a huge fan of the song but I like the production, reminds of that raw feeling their earlier albums had
| |
Thoroughly enjoyed this,
| |
It's ight
| |
Song picks up a little in the second half but where’s the riffs? Sounds like nu metal garbage that leans entirely on the production. Very uninspired.
| |
I enjoyed this and I'm not crazy about these guys
| |
It's ight [2]
I like the drop into the heavy bit
| |
Fucking MEH. I'm not sure they can ever top the 2000s stuff, especially without Chris. Whether you believe it or not, he was a huge influence on their sound.
| |
Chris' drumming was most of their identity for me, agreed
| |
Band died when Chris left, agreed.
| |
Another new song out, sounds like new LoG :/
Although there are some drum parts on it that are pretty reminiscent of Chris.
| |
Mid-section of the new song has a nice Ashes era drum fill (reminded me of "Faded Line") and I think it and Sepsis has some of Randy's gnarliest vocals. He sounds absolutely demonic towards the close of the new song. But I remain whelmed.
| |
God damn Faded Line is such a banger.
