New Thornhill Single 2025-09-18 by MantisTobogganMD | 11 Comments | Australian's Thornhill have released a standalone single “Mercia" as they kick off their U.S. support run for Sleep Token’s Even in Arcadia tour.
"Frontman Jacob Charlton describes “Mercia” as a deeply emotional track about “loving someone lost in their own abyss.” He says it explores the ache of pouring out warmth, devotion, even the hope of carrying someone’s pain—only to be met with silence and defenses, by “vaults” and “ice.” It’s a song about how struggles that resist healing leave you altered, hardened, haunted, and ultimately unable to offer mercy."
