Two new Igorrr songs

2025-05-22 by KevinKC | 22 Comments
French polka band Igorrr have released a music video for their new single "ADHD", paying tribute to fans traumatized by their previous video "Very Noise". The track is taken from their upcoming album Amen, which is set to be released on September 26 on Metal Blade Records.

ADHD!

They've also revealed "Blastbeat Falafel":

Composing the songs for a full band really toned down how crazy this guy used to be. Now his songs are just a little quirky and fairly toothless as a result. Like halfway through ADHD I already wanted to turn it off because it wasn't going anywhere, and I doubt that's clever meta-commentary. Blastbeat Falafel was okay.

It actually goes somewhere.

igorrr for me was primarily an electronic project along the lines of venetian snares, this recent transition into being "a legit metal band" was cool for an album or two but now they're like a wackier Pendulum.

Yeah not sure why YT kept recommending the second video to me all of yesterday.

I did not give in.

So do you turn most songs off if they don't go anywhere in the first half?

I said I wanted to turn it off, but I listened to it all the way through. The juice was not worth the squeeze.

Inviting Trey Spruance onto a track is how you know it's gonna be a weird one

"this recent transition into being "a legit metal band" was cool for an album or two but now they're like a wackier Pendulum."

'Hallelujah' came out 13 years ago, and its biggest tracks already lean into the metal style. This band has been metal for 90% of its existence.
