Hell yeah, can't wait. Really love their output so far.

sweet track. wish the kick drum had the same ~chonk~ it did on sacred vessel but alas i'm pumped. sacred vessel is one of my fav death/doom EPs in recent memory so i've got high hopes for this

weak production
|
| |
^^Well, it's not loud and it feels like the band recorded live, but nowadays I think this is a good thing.
|
| |
Band's great, track's great, prod's fine.
|
| |
y'all have to realize that hype is an audiophile in the true sense of the word lol, if the production is lacking, he's gonna know about it

to my ears it sounds like they were going for an untriggered drum kit but forgot that you have to actually hit the drums hard when they’re just mic’d up.
not a bad track but the drums are distracting.

Yeah, this is the perennial conundrum (sic).
Without triggers, metal drumming is weak most of the time.
With triggers, drums sound like shit, most of the time.
|
| |
and the producers who can get it right are in high demand lmao.

I like the guitar work in this one. The production / drums sound pretty much exactly as I would expect for bands trying to emulate the whole early death metal era sound.

Album sounds awesome.
