Chinese Democracy DVDs? 2006-05-17 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 3 Comments | A team of film-makers apparently connected to guitarists Robin Finck and Richard Fortus have been filming a documentary and concert DVD of Guns N' Roses to roughly coincide with the long-awaited release of the fabled Chinese Democracy.
A source reveals that work has commenced on a documentary which will plot the journey to the end of Chinese Democracy, hopefully answering a few questions along the way. Also in production is a concert DVD, which will probably be a composite of three of the band's four performances in the intimate Hammerstein Ballroom, New York this past week.
Appearing on the Eddie Trunk radio show a fortnight ago as a guest of singer Sebastian Bach (who joined the band for a performance of the classic 'My Michelle' last week), Rose hinted at an autumn release date for the album as well as a promotional tour of North America. The band is about the embark on a two-month European festival tour, beginning in Spain at the end of this month.

Yeah, the cameras were all around us the other day. I hope they show the line footage they filmed. The camera's constantly focussed on people next to me and my gf (both in front and behind) and we got into this fight so it'd be bemusing to say the least

If he's making a DVD, then what is the foundation of your claim that he's not releasing a C.D.?
He could get that C.D. out, ftw. It's famous enough as an unreleased that a record company would probably assume that many people would buy it.
