definitely more of what you'd expect from modern In Flames but honestly it's not that bad, still the weakest of the tracks they've done so far.

Yeah sounds better than stuff from the last couple albums but still disappointed they won't just give up on the pop punk vocals

I hate when bands tease albums like 6 months in advance. Singles should only come out a month or so before release.

Safe to say In Flames isn’t back after all.

I mean 3 out of the 4 tracks so far have been decent so far, I'd still say there might be some hope

Vocals are too up front and cheesy, but otherwise I like this. If you saw the first three songs from this album as a return to form, I don't know why a fourth song that isn't as good would discredit the whole thing.

The chorus gives me slight Moonshield vibes, tbf. Could be because of the time signature and it has that Swedish folk feeling to it.

While it's a bit more of the modern In Flames sound, it's executed pretty well. I feel like Anders actually sounds decent here? The cleans aren't awful and the screams are pretty solid.

Haven't listened to any of the singles that came out after The Great Deceiver as I don't want to listen half the album before it actually comes out but I am actually really looking forward for this album. Judging from what I have heard, it might be their best since Come Clarity.
