Blackened mathcore is a thing now?
| | | Symbology is incredible, very hyped for this one. Shaping up to be a stacked end to the year actually.

| | | Just in case anyone missed it, this is a cool interview...

| | | Label and guitarist says 26th November for CD and digital release? Still good news.
| | | Looks like my source messed up. Fixed & thanks.
| | | All good. I would’ve preferred the earlier date to be honest. I don’t know how busy work is going to beat the tail end of this year.
| | | I'm gonna need to make notes this year, usually I just hang around here and hoover up all the releases as they come in - I might actually have to make an effort for that final stretch.
I've not really been about the new releases thus far in'21, but I seem to remember there being a decent stack I have significant interest in during this period.
| | | LMAO
Demon every 1st half of the year - "yeah fuck this, I quit on new releases, stickin to the old goods, old music is better after all"
Demon every 2nd half of the year - "I might actually have to make an effort for that final stretch."
| | | That's fine, because the first half of the year sucked release-wise aside from a couple exceptions
| | | totally, I was just realizing how Demon literally closes the door for new releases and unwillingly starts opening it as the year goes, every year (since we joined) XD
| | | Yep, that's completely accurate to be honest. Haha.
In my defence I just think (very generally) that I'm better served catching up with older stuff because the pool of music is so much greater, restricting myself to whatever's coming out this week (or last week) seems like I'm setting myself up for failure. Then inevitably I feel like I'm missing out on all the hype-trains etc. especially when it gets to later in the year and the release schedules tend to have more on offer.
| | | Preordered the vinyl, and yes chewytapeworm, blackened mathcore is a thing. It’s a glorious thing.
| | | I listened. It’s delightfully unsettling. I approve.
